Ain't it a shame that the US puts these young men and women in these stressful situations. Under this kind of stress and with this kind of power, it's no wonder these atrocious act are commited. I will agree that the most heinus acts are most likely commited by twisted individuals to begin with, but the environment exacerbates their actions. So sad for the victims, no matter their nationality.

There are shitty people everywhere, including the military. I spent 8 months in Iraq, defensive and offensive combat, and never saw a civilian murdered, raped, or mistreated. Not all soldiers go around killing and raping civilians, these incidents are extremely rare. War is ugly, it is not for everyone, and I wouldn't reccomend it. Whether or not we should be in Iraq or Afghanistan is an entirely different argument, apparently Obama supports the wars.

No doubt there are insensitive assholes everywhere ... this forum proves it. I hope you are right, that these are extremely rare. War is hell and it isn't for anyone. It never ceases to amaze me how the elite are able time and time again to get fodder for their war machine. How can people fall for the same shit over and over again is beyond my comprehension.
Obama is carrying on the bush agenda ... they both have the same handlers ... that's why I never supported him ... I knew he was for the corporations ... and it was no magic trick ... all you had to do it look at his record ... see I have this horrible problem ... I go by what people do ... rather than what they say ... my life seem a lot better following that line of reasoning.

Good points. Is it no justice no peace, or know justice know peace, or am I just too baked. Definitely judge people by their actions and not their lies. Good video, don't agree with the statement on taxes, but good vid nonetheless.

Those Afghans aren't ever gonna become christians or start growing corn. and WTF happened to finding Bin Laden? These 8 years the military has been there turned out nothing more than a jobs program for troops and a blank check for defense contractors!!! Its far past time to pull out of there and cut the military funding, hopefully that is what President Obama is gonna do.
