Like I said, the best bet for survival is to think outside the box. Use the enemies advantages against them.
I would also suggest taking a look at military, guerilla warfare, insurgent type strategy material. Look at history, we can't defeat these insurgents in Iraq, seems to me like they've developed a pretty damn good strategy against the largest military in the world, I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I'm sure that would feed my ego if I were them, seeing as they come from such places with so little provided, much less expensive military technology...

Yea, ok. Real soldiers don't pick up other peoples weapons. Do you know why the russians mortars are usually 1 mm above all of ours? So they can use our rounds. It's smart, and sometimes it's the only option. So you can be super proud/dumb and wait for ammo while you're getting your ass handed to you, or you can pick up a weapon and fight. I've already been there twice "kk?" , but feel free to keep us posted on whats going down over there really. You sound like a Marine. They're trained to think that they're better, but the reality of it is that they are not, and have a tendency make very costly decisions in the area of human life.

It's probably more of a personal preference, but look at the facts, marines go through the longest, toughest training out of any other American military organization. We practically get no federal funding, most of the equipment are hand me downs from the army. We hold ourselves to the highest standard, we have respect for our commanding officer's. I can't think of the mans name of hand, but he said it best when he said America doesn't need a marine corps, America wants a marine corps.

I must be some kind of conformist to hold my brothers in the marine corps on the top, right? I'm proud I was in the marine corps, and I have the utmost respect for anyone in right now. There is a huge difference in how the different branches operate. You don't know because you weren't in the military.

You're just repeating what you've been told by other marines who have told themselves that for so long that they actually believe it. That isn't a bad thing. No, not at all. It's normal like I said. I wouldn't expect to hear anything different come out of a Marines mouth. You're right about how different branches operate, but I've worked with Marines on a few separate occasions, and being head strong only gets you so far. Just because you can hit a point target at 500m with your m16 doesn't mean anything. You guys focus on tradition, and history, we focused more on complete eradication of the enemy. Take no prisoners.
