Wonder Woman and PPP Grow

well good news and bad news good news is that the plants are healthy and budding up nice. Bad news is that i had to destroy my best wonder woman today. It turns out that it was a MALE pissed me right off!!

I ordered the feminized wonder woman seeds. The plants have had no stress on them maximum air temp has been 82.5. No over feeding no under or over watering, ph always goes in at 6.3. So this seed had to be male from the start.

Well any way hear is the garden at 13 days flowering.

The third picture is the one i cut down.

I took some pics of the root ball from the Wonder Woman i cut down i was happy that it root balled well. All the hydroton rocks were held in place by the roots barly any dirt fell off it. the pictures are crapy but i figured i would post them anyway. damn thing was heavy to hold in one hand while trying not to get it everywere and taking pics at the same time lol.

wow not supposed to be any male wonder woman period.how long ago did u get your beans? just wondering if genetics somehow changed from the very first batch of wonder woman seeds released.what like a year and a half two years ago.

Great to see your grow progress Rydub. How big is your bloom room? Is there a reason you don't use reflectors for your lights, just curious. In the last pictures, do you prune after your colas are defined? Really learning a lot from your grow, mine is kinda similar, veg closet, 4- 4't-5's. Bloom room 4x4x6 w/1- 600w hps. eight clones in five gal pots. Subscribed for sure! I'm a newb, so any help is for sure appreciated. Good luck to you, looking great!

I got then seeds probaly 3-4 months ago, ya i was shocked to see male seed pods on every bud it looks like it started out female then hermed. even though there was no stress put on the plant.:wall: Not sure what happened. but i still have 1 WW left and she is doing good. It will probaly be the last time i grow the WW. But the PPP's are very vigourous and hardy. i would definatly grow them again.:-P thamks for posting.

Thanks for posting. My bloom room is 5ftx10ftx8ft. The reason i dont use refectors is for several reasons. the first reason is that i can drop the bulbs down in to the canopy and get light into the side of the plants, this can increase your yeilds up to 20% or so.by increasing the amount of light getting to the buds that would usually be smaller.

the second reason is that i dont run reflectors is that i can cool the room just fine without running air cool lighting. every time i used reflectors i ended up getting hot spots. from all the heat being focused down on the plants. I also found that heat and light dispersion is better without a reflector.

I also am able to evenly light the plants without having to cram them under the optimal light footprint of a reflector. i can drop a bulb down in the middle of 4 plants and by turning them 1/4 or 1/2 a turn each day or so and get even lighting.

As far as prunning goes i like to get rid of the folage on the bottom 1/3 of the plant. after 1 week at 12/12. Trying to ditribute the plant energy to the buds that have the best chance for weight. when i did that the plants grew alot they shot many more new leaves. i had to trim them up again after 2 weeks. and ill probaly do it once more in week 3. Do not trim to much from the canopy just enough to get good light penetration.

In your bloom room it would be hard to go without a reflector with 8 plants in 5 gallon pots. I put fans on the floor pointing straight up at the bulb it works very well. but with 8 plants you would not have room to do that so a reflector would be the way to go. hope i could help a little thanks for posting.

19 days in to flowering. today was water day, hydrozym and superthrive only, ph at 6.3 :leaf: there starting to put on a little weight.

You are the man rydub! I like your theory with the rotating of the plants, your plants definitely appreciate the time you spend with them. thank you so much for the trimming advice, i feel so much more confident going into bloom. Only going to have six plants in bloom room though, going to keep two mothers in veg room. I'll throw them in the bloom room after I get a lot of clones out of them. Really jealous of your sq footage. Keep it up mang, thanks for the help!

today, 20 days of Flowering, i went through all the plants exept the Wonder Woman and flaged them(removed old and defciante leaves). Im just trying to maximize light getting to the buds. Hoppfully this the last time have to do this.;-)

Day 23: Still looking good. I noticed some minor nutrient burn on the PPP's today. so i think i hit my cap on nute consintration. I think the Wonder woman could take more feeding but im going to keep her with the ppp's on feeding strength.

They were feed with 1150 ppm's yesterday. 650ppm AN connisour, 400ppm AN big bud powder. 50ppm's of Carboload, superthrive, hydrozym. And 50ppms in the water.:bigjoint:

25th day of flowering. I have a new adittion to the flowering room, a friend of mine couldnt finish flowering a Skunk Haze he had, almost 100% Sativa. He asked me if i would finish this plant for him, i said yes. Its been budding for at least 10 to 11 weeks now, im guessing it has at least another 3 to 4 weeks to go. Damn Sativas! if this plant ever decides to bulk up and fill in there will be mega weed on it!!!

The other plants are all doing well!
