You have to put it all into perspective though don't you? If a group of decisions are made that forces a country into a place they really don't want to be. Then change is an obvious goal. But what things are going to change. Am I giving up certain liberties for this change, Am I paying more in taxes for this change, Am I going against everything this country once stood for, simply for "Change". Change can mean many things to many people. I for one would like to see a change. I would like to see the housing market up, I would like to send my daughter or son to school (in a good neighborhood mind you) without having to worry she's going to hurt someones feelings and because they feel they need to shoot somebody instead of talk it out, get shot. That scares the shit out of me.
I would like to not see tax increase on top of tax increase because the people in this country can't find work, but our president seems to think that we should allow more people in, then allow them to sit on their ass and pay them for it. Granted every great country needs too "fill up to capacity" to run the country correctly and keep the economy moving upwards. We also need to determine when we need to shut the door.
It's like a bar. The best fucking bar in town. Best drinks, hottest girls, Best Music. Everybody wants to go there and get in. Only problem is there is a dress code. so they don't let you in if you don't take care of yourself, Or if your wearing sneakers or a tee-shirt. because their appearance lies on their customers. And the is the capacity is set at 500. So there's a line outside. When somebody comes out, somebody goes in. They do this for a couple reasons.
1. The more people crammed in there the less they can take care of each person and make sure their having the best time they can. If there's suddenly too many people in there, then you have to wait for drinks, people step on your feet, and it's crowded. People don't like that.
2. Safety. Sure they could fit 1500 people in there, but then what happens when there's a fire and only two exits. People get hurt, they get trampled because in the case of an emergency most people will fight to the death to get out, before ever helping someone.
The United States, My country, Is like that Bar. We used to be one of the most evolutionary countries. Motor Vehicles, NASA, Healthcare, Education, Employment the list goes on and on. America stood at the forefront to all that. Now, because of the last 10 years or so, We've become a laughing stock to the rest of the world. People Despise Americans in most places. I LOVE AMERICA, but I'm ashamed to be one in another country. Because all they see are the STUPID, jerry springer watching, dropout, loser assholes who think they deserve everything in return for nothing. I know we're not like that. But unfortunately a big chunck of America is.
Sorry for the rant.......
