Are there any black people on this forum that didn't vote for Obama?

so why are these teabaggers always all white christian conservatives? dont they want colored folks at their teapartys?
Pretty damn judgemental a discernation IMO. Oh wait, you're the "open minded one" unlike "us".

Seriously dude, nobody was "uninvited" to the tea parties. Anyone could've spoke out if they wanted to. Yet you still call those that attended racists, even though you have no idea who they are, or how they really feel. You sir are a hypocrite, small-minded, FOOL, and until you wake up, will always be so. Have a nice day. :peace::mrgreen::roll:

Scary? Not at all. It's where democracy NEEDS to go. Brilliant is more like it IMO. Excellent post, and something I've long thought myself.

Yeah except for that " stupider" remark :wall: I hate the irony in that word.

boy I feel silly... Shouldn't smoke while talking politics. I always manage to paint myself into a corner :bigjoint:

oh and thanks

Or as we have all been taught for the last 50 years, voting based upon ethnicity is racist.

If ur a normal person that is.

From a 1-10.... 3 at best as i tend to focus on work and the matters that are in my household. When things were simpler for me a 5-6 years back i always debated about political agendas, and the manipulation of society in theory. I just don't know enough about our recent matters at hand to say much about them. Is Obama Competent? I'm not sure but have have had rougher times then now. he did come into the Office when things were at there worst. if it improve by any percentage then i would be satisfied and vote for a 2nd term.

You have to put it all into perspective though don't you? If a group of decisions are made that forces a country into a place they really don't want to be. Then change is an obvious goal. But what things are going to change. Am I giving up certain liberties for this change, Am I paying more in taxes for this change, Am I going against everything this country once stood for, simply for "Change". Change can mean many things to many people. I for one would like to see a change. I would like to see the housing market up, I would like to send my daughter or son to school (in a good neighborhood mind you) without having to worry she's going to hurt someones feelings and because they feel they need to shoot somebody instead of talk it out, get shot. That scares the shit out of me.
I would like to not see tax increase on top of tax increase because the people in this country can't find work, but our president seems to think that we should allow more people in, then allow them to sit on their ass and pay them for it. Granted every great country needs too "fill up to capacity" to run the country correctly and keep the economy moving upwards. We also need to determine when we need to shut the door.

It's like a bar. The best fucking bar in town. Best drinks, hottest girls, Best Music. Everybody wants to go there and get in. Only problem is there is a dress code. so they don't let you in if you don't take care of yourself, Or if your wearing sneakers or a tee-shirt. because their appearance lies on their customers. And the is the capacity is set at 500. So there's a line outside. When somebody comes out, somebody goes in. They do this for a couple reasons.

1. The more people crammed in there the less they can take care of each person and make sure their having the best time they can. If there's suddenly too many people in there, then you have to wait for drinks, people step on your feet, and it's crowded. People don't like that.
2. Safety. Sure they could fit 1500 people in there, but then what happens when there's a fire and only two exits. People get hurt, they get trampled because in the case of an emergency most people will fight to the death to get out, before ever helping someone.

The United States, My country, Is like that Bar. We used to be one of the most evolutionary countries. Motor Vehicles, NASA, Healthcare, Education, Employment the list goes on and on. America stood at the forefront to all that. Now, because of the last 10 years or so, We've become a laughing stock to the rest of the world. People Despise Americans in most places. I LOVE AMERICA, but I'm ashamed to be an American in another country ( in Europe). Because all they see are the STUPID, jerry springer watching, dropout, loser assholes who think they deserve everything in return for nothing. I know we're not like that. But unfortunately a big chunk of America is. And Sadly people don't seem to have a problem with it.
All You can do is keep trying. I teach my children to be good people. To trust each other and their family, and to work hard so that they can be happy. It goes hand in hand. Lead by a good example. It's the only chance America has left...

Sorry for the rant.......

No worries on the rant, you've got alot to say and i'm happy to listen and partake (if possible) Through your Analogy I understand what you mean. I also want change. I want us to be top dog again" sorry for lack of term" Our stock market is a joke and it looks IMHO that it's just another way to launder money for the big fish and possibly lose for the smaller fish I would like to see the percentage of jobs go up. An older gentlemen in his late 70's once told me " this isn't a depression! The great depression was when jobs were at 30% unemployment rate back when i was servicing in the war. I thought to myself "I hope we never go there again". could you imagine.

I certainly can. I own my own small business, I'm a contractor (tree guy) and 90% of my work is "when people have a little extra money to spend".Pruning, Clearing, Planting. The other ten percent is emergency stuff that really needs to be done right away because of certain liabilities Takedowns branches over houses and such. I've been selling quite a few extra liabilities over the past couple years
