Hey do you think since I veg'd her for a month, total flower time will be shorter?

Acutally it could take longer. Generally speaking... if you force flowering before the plant has reached maturity, it will not flower until it matures. Assuming they are mature, they should take a fixed amount of time to flower. Incida's are 8-10 weeks and Sativa are like 12-18 weeks I believe. It varies strain to strain obviously...

Your girls look a tad droopy, make sure you get that O2 to the roots, your doing drip in pure hydroton correct? Should be nearly impossible to overwater with that setup. A low does of H2O2 could help possibly... The other cause could be lack of cirulation/heat. Before I added a box fan to my plants they were extremly droopy. I see you only have one small fan pointed up... you may want to give her a little more breeze. Just some ideas if you want to experiment a little. Good luck!

Yea i agree man, they are a tad droopy. The little fan I have is normally up hanging up. Though it is small I think it does pretty good. The temp stays at a good 75-80 when the lights are on. There is a window behind the tent so during light time I have it open a little. So the heat from the light balances out with the cold air. As for the H202. I add a cap full everytime i change the water.

Would the dropping possibly be from me not adding enough nutes?

How do you know when it has reached maturity?

I started to flower it at about 6in. It has been a week and a half and I can see the pistills starting to poke out everywhere. If it hasn't reached maturity will it show like that?

I think as long as you keep doing what you doing you should be aight, youre about to enter the most exciting part of the whole gig
(for me anyways) where the plant starts to bloom, if you have pistils showing then just keep it happy and wait for your buds, i would recommend getting a jewlers loupe or what i have a pocket microscope so you can start tracking trichome growth. The color of the trichome is a good indicator of maturity, look for an amber color. when there is a ratio of about 50 clear to 50 amber start flushing with plain water and keep checking until you see mostly amber then close your eyes ask for forgiveness and give them the chop, then thank them for what they are about to give you. AND FOR CRYING OUT LOUD CURE IT RIGHT, you wouldnt eat an unripened banana right?

Thanks for the tips man I appreciate it.:weed:

How do you know when it has reached maturity

Pre-flowers (meaning under 18/6 light) are a good indicator the plant has reached maturity. Another sign is the fan leaves will alternate sides rather than grow in perfect pairs (but not every plant seems to behave this way).

6" is a bit short, ideally you want them to be 12-18", but that is dependent on your vertical space. If you are limited, 6" should do just fine, but you will end up with smaller plants overall & therefore less bud.

Some people even grow 12/12 from seed. Not sure why to be honest, but just understand there are many ways to accomplish the same goal.

Day 45
(16 days into flower)

2 weeks into flowering and the signs of sex are 100% obvious now. My camera phone takes pretty good pix so I got a few good ones for all you pistil lovers!

Tip and comments are all welcome!!!:leaf:

Yea they are stressin a tad. I gotta get my Ph right bro. Ima go see if the Pet Smart got some PH Increase

here are some pics of my little problem.

There is a gap in your journal bro. Did this turn out to be PH fix or did it go away on it's own?? I have a dripper system similar to yours in 100% Hydroton and have 2 plants out of 4 with curling just like that (curling, no burn) at 30 days veg. THX

Sup bro, thanx for stoppin through. I actually still haven't been able to grab some PH increase for da ladies, but they are still growin pretty good. Last Saturday was 3 weeks into flowering. I can tell that are hurtin a lil cause 1, they are growing too close to my 400w HPS and 2 the PH. I should get them back good this weekend if anything.

Ok, so i went with my own little experiment and i chopped all leaves that weren't close to a bud site.

Then i used twistie ties to make all the branches pointed upwards along with the cola.

Ok so here are some more pix after i went chop crazy. Got alot of new growth, all bud sites are looking more full also.

I started flowweing at about 7in and this thing has grown so freakin much i had to tie the cola down so it wouldnt get fried by the HPS. So you'll notice in the pix a big bush...then to the side my cola sits lol

I measured and standing tall im at a strong 35in......waayyy over what i was shooting for.

So yea all is lookin well. I can tell she took some stress from when i tied the cola down n all but I think she will be fine. Its been a few days since Imade these changes and no signs of the dreaded hermie attack....Hope im not speakin too early..

Pix are a bit scattered so pay attention to Time Stamp to see progress

Thanks bro i appreciate it. Yea she doin aight but a lil behind on growth. I just hit 3 weeks into flowering and I barely see trichs on da leaves...

Alrighty..so Chelsea Clinton is pushing 4 weeks into flowering this Saturday. The smell is starting to get a little strong so its about that time for that Ozone Generator. I found a pretty good one on amazon for $200so thats next on the list. Also, I finally found a hydro shop in my area so this weekend I plan to pick up some Floralicious Bloom, FloraBlend and Bud Candy!!! hmmmm my mouth is waterin already lol

BTW has any ever used Bud Candy?? Does it work? Do you really get a sweeter tasting bud? I guess we will find out!

So in the pix you'll notice that my HPS is on the side now. Well the reason behind that is......I want to get light to EVERY bud site..so using my twistie tie method I put all branches facing the lite side. Looks weird as shit but i promise these things have got to get fat and juicy with how its set up....but then again i could be wrong.
