I'm no advocate of being high and driving but if you're going to don't smoke, a cop will be able to tell 3 days later that, at some point, you were driving while high - and they have very little sense of humor about that kind of thing.

Good point, if youre driving through the local drug spot probably even being sober is going to attract LEO's attn. So to answer the op, be smart about where you are and who youre with. Case in point, me(hispanic but look gringo) rocking blue LA gear, my homie 6' sumthing dreaklocked rastah brotha and another homie, lil asian boi trying to look like eminem in a brand new benz cruising in LA. Man oh man the cops musta followed us on and off atleast 45mins. And we hadnt even gone to any dispensaries yet!

Point is you never know when or why they gonna wanna pull you over so like alot of the other posters have said, Ozium(might choke u to death so be careful) some hand sanitizer for the funky fingers, gum or buttnaca and visine and eat that roach! Fuk the police, Fuk the police yeah!!

Diff. countries, heck states, cities and block to block it differs, I know of a few places where just parking on the street is enuff for a sheriff to come run you're tags.

I've got a big fat labadour retriever and a Red Bone Hound/German Shepard mix - cover's all smell.

After a while you don't even need the dogs in your truck, the beautiful odor lingers. Forever. If you have really friendly and not-scary dogs most RCMP around here love them, get points.

Another thing to do in rural areas is drive a truck. I drive 119 KPH (speed limit 110 KPH) and I never get pulled over - but I see cars pulled on the side of the road all the time. Trucks makes a person think of an old slow farmer or hard working guy.

bastards! must defo be where you live then, we got questioned and searched by the police from the airport, they gave us a slap on the wrist and then told us that if we wanted to smoke pot we should goto XXX where the other kiddies do it got into a bit of trouble with a friend involving a crash and pot and the same police turned up i bolted with the gear and the policewoman asked my mate "i bet you were racing around with that mate of yours again" oh the irony to her jest

Hehe, i only drived somewhat baked 3-4 times...only one of the times i regret it for real when i was doing 130km/h on a pitch black road in the middle of the night and my nightvision sucked balls, i couldnt see longer then my crappy headlights where lighting up on the road, felt like it was only 20-30 meters in front of the car and then u have the damn stoner delay + corner...was about to drown myself in a river that night if the crash hadnt killed me, luckely i managed stop the accident from happen ^^....

btw u yankies doesnt need to be sober while driving anyways ^^...not that hard to keep out of trouble on one of those highways through the nevada desert for example ^^

Exactly. Dont be fooled everyone. I've been pulled over SEVERAL times for no apparent reason. I have only been ticketed twice period. once for a "supposed" running of a red light at 1am (went to court and won).

and a ticket for 80 in a 65. i was going with traffic but decided not to fight it because i was speeding in all actuality even if i was keeping up with traffic...

however i have been pulled over about 7 times or so...almost every time i am not given a reason as to why im being pulled over...

most recently i pulled off a side street with a friend...i had a bunch of empty bluntwraps in my pocket and a medicine bottle full of rolled blunts (i like my weed ready for me when i wanna smoke it so i usually buy a 8th and rollit up all at once lol also doesnt ever give a cop a leg to stand on to say it was for sale).

we pull onto the main road and stop immediately at the stop light that was red before we even hit the main road...we stop at the light and about 25 seconds later (the light is still red) the cops pull right up behind my car. i never cocked my head back to make it obvious i was looking in the rearview nor could they see my eyes as i was wearing sunglasses.

anyway the light turns green and he puts the lights on. as im pulling over im telling my friend what the story is going to be in the event they separate us.

we pull over and the cop blocks me in and he never gets out...all the sudden a second car comes up and the first officer approaches with gun in hand...he thought we were up to no good and going to attempt something or watever.

anyway we tell them were going wherever (cant remember now) and i ask why am i being pulled over and he says nothing...he never did tell me why...but he did lean in to smell but of course he couldnt smell anything so he had to let us go...

but i was a bit nervous...especially since (long story...someone asked me to steal shot glasses from a place they went to for their bday party but i forgot to give them to him) i had the shot glasses IN THE GLOVE BOX!!! and i wasnt 21 yet at the time.

idk how but i kinda peeked to see if he was paying attention when i wen to get my registration out of the glove box soon as his eyes wandered to grab his radio i threw them between my friends legs on the floor (baggy pants...they couldnt see them) and it all went smooth.

never will that happen again...that was a big mistake on my part...i took advantage of a short distance drive and ASSUMED i wouldnt be stopped for no reason...but i was...

just advice to those who drive high. ive been known to be seen pulling on to the freeway from the onramp on a friday late afternoon with music blasting and a blunt in hand clearly visible to those in traffic...im sure they could smell it too! lmao

but it was dumb. my advice is not to drive if you're stoned to the point where its obvious to others. if your high but not to the point where you'd be suspected then i say go for it (like on a mild buzz) but if its clear your high to your friends then it certainly will be to a police officer.

we never did pass anyone that night goin the other way but it was rainy and the side of the hill/mountain had NO TYPE OF GUARDRAIL! AT ALL...you could have literally slide on the wet pavement and right off the side of this fucker...it took a hour to drive through it and the gas light came on part way and the guy driving is doing like double the speed limit.

i was in the front seat gone off some some bud with hash on it...i was TRIPPIN HARD paranoid outta my mind the way the guy is driving...lmao
