Cloning now for buds in October...

Yeah, it's a good thing sv has a good sense of humor, like me.

The cuttings are doing well, and start getting window sill time, this week. they'll be very adept to natural sunlight, when May comes. Everything is going out in the first week of May.

This is gonna' be a good summer.

Oh! And I made a discovery , this time around. The cap off of a clear bic pen makes a perfect seed handling tool. When you got big ol' dumbass fingers like mine, it helps when moving them from the cup to the paper towel, to the medium... Just thought I'd share that.

The Island Sweets are sitting at the bottom of a cup... Not cracked.

We're (by WE, I mean my brother and I)also having trouble with our GH The Church beans. I wonder how much luck I'd have if I tried to contact The Attitude about my germination problem. of course I'd have to find a clever way to say it, or something.

UPDATE: I moved them to a paper towel, a ziplock, and on a heat mat.

I get mine at KindSeed and they guaranteed 90% germination or they send new ones. I've NEVER had a problem with seeds being replaced.

I always soak till they crack then place in a ziplock in wet paper towels and place them on the cable box. Gets the perfect temp. I blow mine full of air like a balloon, it's just easier to handle, like a pillow.

just email them or write them, you might get some free beans. I've been pretty good about getting things fixed :weed:

Took your advice, slabhead. the e-mail read like this.(I copied and pasted it here)

To whomever reads this e-mail... I am a loyal customer of The Attitudes souvenirs. I've made multiple orders in the past, and plan to make many more.:)

The reason for this e-mail is to inform you that I am VERY dis-satisfied with my ten pack of "The Church" souvenirs. Every other bean I've ever gotten from your fine business was to my satisfaction, or better. All the rest have made fine souvenirs.

Unfortunately The Churchs that you sent me... Well... Lets just say that NOT ONE of them were to my satisfaction, when the rest of them gave me a 100%..."satisfaction rate." Unfortunately, circumstances being what they are, I am probably gonna' be unable to mail them back to you.

Hopefully my history with your business will win me favor for some sort of reparations. A five pack of Greenhouse beans to replace my faulty ten pack, would be better than a kick in the Nutz! Haha.

If you feel that reparations are in order, any five or ten pack of greenhouses beans will suffice.

Thanx alot for your time. I await your response.

Sincerely yours,
********

Think that'll work?

In all truthfulness, I go to Speedy now, and if the service is what I expect it will be.(Waiting for my first order to arrive, any day now) I'm not gonna' have a reason to go anywhere else... Unless I'm looking for something specific he doesn't have... ... But they don't know that.;)

I saw you were gettin stressed about the leafs yellowing haha and how long it takes. If I use a heating pad I can get roots from Ogre in about 2-3 weeks. Without the heating pad and low temps i had clones in the same area for a month and a half with no roots. I bought a new heating pad and now they're rooted and about a foot tall. As far as the seeds you should check out my germination thread in my sig. I will sub to this and watch where it's going. My outdoor plants are already 3-5 foot tall lol

Where are those pictures of your mother plants btw

I assume your talking about my powerkush clones. They are doing fine, now. It was my first venture into cloning, and I got 2 out of 2.(With a a little help from my RIU friends) If you still want to see the mother plant, well your just in time! She's almost 6 weeks into a flowering cycle that I dont see going past 7 weeks... I'm almost ready to cut her top half down, and start taking branches with amber trichs.

Here's a pic I took last Sunday, of the Powerkushs cola. Remember, this picture is almost a week old...

Stop by the grow, if you'd like... The link is in my sig.

People just remember if you dont have a thermometer than you dont know youre temps.I had a severe seed cooking with one of those seed warmers. That little fucker killed a fem White Russian from Speedy and some Hijack from someone else.I bought the thing for cloning in the winter.I dont know how they are supposed to work but mine would hit 100f with the dome on top of it.I took the heater out and now I do my seeds the way I always did.Never make that mistake yall.Check those temps.

Yeah a lot of those heating mats are not thermostatically controlled. just a set voltage through a set resistance to increase the temperature by a certain amount of degrees. usually 10-20f so if your room is 80f your seed mat is cooking at 100f. the temp of the mat is varied by the ambient temperature. I will never buy a heating mat I have a grow room that is always between 75-80f and I just soak the seeds in a cup in a desk drawer until they sink wait 12hr pull them out put them in damp paper towel till they have 1/4'' tails and then they go into the dirt.
