chb44420, thanks for the advice. Ill put some tape around the clear containers so light cant get to the roots. I used clear containers because I thought it would be easier to tell when I needed to transplant to a bigger pot, but I can still pull off a little section of the tape to check and see if it gets root bound. Thanks for the tip... plus rep for youheyy watsup man? hey i just wanted to warn ya.. u should cover up those clear soda containers.. if u have sum duct tape? or anything to cover it up.. because since its clear.. once the roots start growin more.. you will be able to see them.. which means so will the light.. and the light will kill the roots VERY quickly.. soo ur gonna wanna cover that up asap.. i would just hate to see u take all this time grown them.. and then have them die over sumthin stupid like that.. u could even tape sum construction paper to it or something. u seem creative tho. lol. im sure you'll think of something. =) lookin good by the way... both outdoors AND indoors. =D
I pulled 4 of the soft white CFLs out of the cab and moved the remaining lights to one side. I also started using one of the tin pans as a flood tray so there is some evaporation cooling and a higher humidity. The temp dropped to 82 so im happy with that at the moment, but I might cut some more holes for ventilation later.Ya bro, keep those girls cool humid... 90's i think are waay too warm.
Ya, I had them way too far away from the lights to begin with so they stretched a ton, but ive moved them to 2 inches away based on the advice many other people have given me... but im not using the best seeds, just stuff ive pulled out of bags over the years. Hopefully when I plant these new seeds ive been germing I can avoid the stretch. It has been a learning process for me and Ive messed up a ton, but sooner or later ill get it right. How far away are the lights looks like the plants are stretchin 2 me
