chb44420, thanks for the advice. Ill put some tape around the clear containers so light cant get to the roots. I used clear containers because I thought it would be easier to tell when I needed to transplant to a bigger pot, but I can still pull off a little section of the tape to check and see if it gets root bound. Thanks for the tip... plus rep for you

today I took out the 50w HPS I wasnt using in the cab and replaced it with another serge protector with 4 more CFLs... temp climbed 4degrees from 88 to 92... I think I need to start cutting more ventilation holes to get the heat out faster

I also built a small pvc grow pin for outside so I can put the plants in more direct sunlight and not have the neighbors see them

sounds good man, those bag seeds you got are really some bag seed lol

They seem to just stretch and not have much growth at all, if you have more beans, i would just pop and plant as many as you can until you find a keeper

Ya bro, keep those girls cool humid... 90's i think are waay too warm.

I pulled 4 of the soft white CFLs out of the cab and moved the remaining lights to one side. I also started using one of the tin pans as a flood tray so there is some evaporation cooling and a higher humidity. The temp dropped to 82 so im happy with that at the moment, but I might cut some more holes for ventilation later.

today my plan is to start putting together a aero cloner and take some pictures of the plants and outside grow pin

Do it up man! Nice to hear your a DIY type. I think it's all part of the fun puttin it all together yourself. I'm on my extended Vaca. and will be around if you have any questions on my build. Sooo worth it! Nine day big ass visible roots? Hell ya!
You should really start some more seeds man
got 10 more germing in a wet paper bag. when the tap root pops out I will plant them and try and fill the cab to the max

How far away are the lights looks like the plants are stretchin 2 me

Ya, I had them way too far away from the lights to begin with so they stretched a ton, but ive moved them to 2 inches away based on the advice many other people have given me... but im not using the best seeds, just stuff ive pulled out of bags over the years. Hopefully when I plant these new seeds ive been germing I can avoid the stretch. It has been a learning process for me and Ive messed up a ton, but sooner or later ill get it right.
