i use several nutes that tint my roots brown... no issues ...just keep an eye on everything & do those rez changes like normal.

IMHO, Hygrozyme is more for soil/soilless grows than hydro.
I have it and have used it. I like the product, just not for DWC.
Hydro DWC is not meant to be "organic" with beni's and such, so Hygrozyme is not needed.
Unless you begin to see root rot, or have to seperate the roots of 2 or more plants (b/c roots will be torn) then it's not needed.
There shouldn't be any root/plant or biological matter of any kind in DWC, that needs to be broken down by the enzymes so the plant can consume it.

It makes sense. I started using it through another grower and he said he uses it in his hydro setup, but he only uses it for 2 weeks, into flower. so thats what i did. thanks for the info flo. what about "liquid karma"? some aspects of it are organic (as are other bontaicare suppliments) yet the bottle clearly notes hydro use & specs.

i am still trying to figure out a way to incorporate a carb on the regular in my dwc.
changing out rezzys every two days (max) after a carb load jerks donkey dick.
and, these sweet products do have "hydro use" on the label.

to eliminate waste, i do my best to use the old rez water in my soil grows.

my "main flower" mix for the next dwc change out : is : quick grow bloom (5-10-25) , humic acid , potasium silicate , cal mag , proper ph , 700ppm

last week : was : the main mix minus humic : add hygrozyme
next week : main mix minus humic + looking for a carb to run : any suggestions?
following week : main mix + h2o2 : 2 days after the h2o2 oxidizes + liquid karma
week after : main minus humic : add fulvic acid

* are you telling my flo-grow in order to keep a sterile rez you use NO organic anything ...no way ...no how ...even as a component in another product?

let's discuss. i am curious.

plus, and more importantly, i'd like to fine tune my rez concept in bucket form before i switch to something else... like rdwc with a large main rez.

karma hates waste... & i can't imagine fucking up 35 gallons of nuted water.

what up..real quick update. ladies are blowing the fucking roof off the tent. Vertical growth has to stop or i gotta figure something out. I never guessed that a 3" plant turns into a 16" plant in 3 weeks. Mindblowing. Rez was a little low. topped it off. PPm raised to 645 of the maxibloom. Ph at 5.9. So thats that. NOthing really changed looks wise, so im not gonna put picks up tonight. Maybe take a couple days off so u guys will reallly notice the new growth when i do post some more...Peace...Ganja

i put 6 to 8 inch clones right into flower (1 gal planters) & they nearly tripled in size... that's even after experimenting by pruning the tops of 12 (out of 30) plants right before i flowering... and those topped plants still shot up like mad.

I had to bend and pinch my Magic Monkey's this grow.

Karma : Before this 1st DWC, all I used was PBP. Have 8 diff bottles of shit put away right now.
Just using GH FloraMicro and FloraBloom w/ a "pinch" of PBP Cal/Mag in the very beginning, for my DWC. And powder KoolBloom every 2 weeks.
Nothing more. Want to see what "simple" does first, before I start trying to change things.
I do agree that Liquid Karma should be good for DWC, but I already have FloraMicro too.

thats what i was thinking of doing. at this point, my options are semi limited, but something gotta be done. So should i just bend just enough so the plant is not at risk to get heat stressed? I guess that would be enough. i dont wanna do nothin extensive, just basic tie out of harms way. They are slowing down in vertical growth so this prob should be done and over with fairly soon. Trich, now this is week 3 of flower, is it to late to do some touch up lollipoppin? I just notice a couple of bullshit branches and fans that could come off, but i dont wanna over stress the plant at this point. I mean there are maybe 2 or 3 plants that need touched up and maybe a branch or so from each plant, so it no nothing major, just bullshit i wanna get off of the plant before they really start bloomin hard...Let me know..Ganja

oddly enough ==> yes

two of the (12) topped plants are even little taller than ones i never touched.

my experiment (unknown strain) indicates:

the plants i never touched are right & tight with great node spacing.
the plants i topped before flower streched tons and node spacing on the new growth is far apart.

fyi : i topped 12 plants 3 or 4 days before i put them into the flower closet ...to see if that would curtail vertical growth & bump up lower branching as they were growing way fast.

also if your plants are healthy & unaffected by pests, trim off that lower branching & leaves.

flogrow, the KISS method with regard to nutes is probably the best , the easiest, and the least expensive way to approach hydro nute schedules.

i had been thinking about this too... but with so many "suppliments" out there it's hard not to dabble.

what up everyone?..nadda whole lot here...just took some pics today and thought i'd share with whoever cares to look at them....the one with like 6 little mini colas is a sour diesel that i have in a 5"x5"x5" pot in soil..its just in same tent with dwc (i got the mentality that if i got the space and light, then fill it with dank plants) i just tied it the one time to the side of the pot in the 1st week of flower...just a fuck around plant...im liking results so far though....wonder if she will yield a quarter after cure???Ok with the other in the rezzy, ppm right at 790-795ish...rez temp hanging at a constant 74 degrees...tent temp right at 78-81 degrees during lights on....73-78 degrees with lights out...and just checked ph this morning when i added water to the rez...6.0...so i didnt fuck with it....im diggin all the almost always steady temps and reading all around the board...only thing is, because i have to exhaust in the tent, i just gotta leave the door open when light is on...no big deal...im going to put fan in after i yield....just way easier to run wires and ducting and shit when nothing is in there...ok so thats that...comment if u want...dont if u dont want to...lol....everything is good...cant wait to get some macro pics for u guys....in a couple weeks....peace and keep em green....Ganja
