yeah you're not gonna get it the way I'm explaining it. maybe someone else will say the right words to get this shit ti click in your brain... I don't seem to be able.
I think what Poplars is trying to say is that there isn't brands of pot yet..example..my version is the whole state of california. people from mendo drive to LA to sell weed.
well stop buying your weed from the clinic and getting raped. I would slap the shit out of sumone if they tryed to sell me a zip for 400 no bullshitI hope it does pass, then we can stop getting ripped off for $400.00 at the clinic. Sorry if it hurts your business, but I along with many other supports of 19 really hate over priced herb.
there sure are alot of people that pick up bomb in mendo me an 2 other friends would pick 20 pounds up at a time for 2300 a pound and sell it right here where were at for 300 a zip. I get what your saying FDD theres allways going to be a demand for bomb ass weed. and the clubs and corporations are going to continue to sell it for a grip. why wouldnt they?my version is the whole state of california. people from mendo drive to LA to sell weed.
That sounds like Hyper-regulation to me... do you really want MORE hyper-regulation???they'll have to establish regulations for this otherwise we'll all have to move to greenhouses....
all you can hope for at that moment is that people use common sense with cannabis and dont keep males outside...
did you have to obtain an EIN/tax id number in order to do what you do?its not going to pass. you will see for your self in november. I live in northern cali and sell pounds all day to the clubs for 3700 and dont plan on stopping anytime soon. good luck in Colorado
Except the quality wouldn't drop. It's not like additional "resources" will help you grow better quality marijuana. They will just sell at as high of price as they can get away with. And they can get away with ANYTHING because an outdoor marijuana grow costs virtually NOTHING. Eventually the supply will be so large the only way to gain profits (remember, MJ growing is almost all profit) will be to sell cheap. People will buy lots of the over supplied marijuana and start moving it out to the rest of the country where street profits are still high. The only problem with trying to TAX buyers of cannabis is that their is SO LITTLE DEMAND for cannabis in Cali. If everyone is growing their own, no one will be buying any. The only way to make money would be to have everyone who wants to grow MJ in their own home register. Then all registered growers would pay a tax.I think what Poplars is trying to say is that there isn't brands of pot yet..example..
BudBomb USA decides to sell it's OZs for $400, said brand happens to be one of the first brands to sell reefer..
MariMyJuana sees BudBombs prices, and somehow, decides they can sell there OZ for $350.
BudBomb is losing business, they must sell cheaper. Somehow, through differant quality or w/e it may be, they decide to start selling for $325
MariMyJuana starts losing business, and how ever they decide to do it, they can start selling for $315
PuffaDaReefer comes along, selling for $310.
And so on. Unfortunatly the prices decrease, along with quality. If quality drops to much they lose business, no matter the price. If quality stays the same, then prices can only drop so much.
Thats just my take, don't shoot me
OMG10 years ago i was sitting in a carls JR parking lot waiting for "my dude" to drop me off a 50 dollar 1/8th. this was after 3 days of phone calls and running around.
today i can jump in my car and be at 4 different clubs within 10 mins. the 1/8ths are 60 dollars.
same quality bud.
that's about all i know about that.

Because with as much supply as there is in Cali right now, people certainly aren't going to be going to stores and such to buy it when they are "legal" to grow their own in 5x5. Really now. The government would make NOTHING off of MJ sales tax. UNLESS the stores sold the weed for very low prices, THEN people may consider buying it over growing it. Ahah, we are onto something here. The only way people will buy it from the stores is if stores have VERY CHEAP PRICES.
I agree with Poplars the prices will decrease if it were legal. I agree with FDD that the demand for purchasing weed will decrease if it were legal as well. The supply would be too much and the government wouldn't make any SALES TAX (again maybe they would do a cultivation tax).
But then again, isn't that the goal of the entire movement? To have an abundance of weed to the point where it is of no financial value and everyone is free to grow and smoke as they please?
Yes, it is the easy life making money off growing weed.
But I would MUCH rather have legal cultivation for EVERYONE than abuse my medical recommendation to make mad profits off of my own medicine. It is quite obvious why growers don't want it to pass.
I want to grow my own weed so I can A) consume as much of it as I want whenever I want (not worrying about having a small bag)... B) not spend money on weed so I can save more money and C) to grow my own strains
Extra weight which I would bank in profit off of is just a very nice perk that comes with a MMJ rec. I would rather see the world showered in weed and legal than be that mmj grower who (in present time) is making 4g a lb after just chopping 10lbs.... Yeah real hard life you got there. Not saying I wouldn't do it if I had the chance, I am just saying I would prefer legal cultivation across the board. AKA, a very small demand for weed (well, very very high demand, but in comparison to the supply) in comparison to the supply.
OMG
days later you post this like we're still wrong?
I'm done buddy, you'll see for yourself one day.
I mean no matter WHAT we say you stil don't get it.
you're definitely one of those people who truly WONT believe it no matter HOW much convincing we do until reality SLAPS you in the face.
hehe nah I don't say that in person but nice imagination
I'm not predicting the future, I"m telling you how the system will work, we're not in the same system as we will be when it is fully legalized and regulated it.
you keep talking about todays system as if it says something about the legalized system, this is simply not the case.
^^^ straight out of the prophet POPLARS! LOLOLOL
YEAH WITH SIMPLE ECONOMIC CONCEPTS I PREDICT THE FUTURE!!!! all bow down and worship theee
