Fuck!!!! Management told me to take out window ac!!

I just used 1/16 strength nutes and mixed with my tap, it was 820ppm.

Im goin tomorrow to lowes to get tha fittings for tha RO Filter and flush flush.

I wanna start 4 new plants in a perfect conditions with RO water from tha start and only 1 plant per bucket. Do you think these 6 that have already been started with 3 in each bucket will grow as well as tha ones Ill start in a couple dayz in perfect conditions with only 1 in each bucket?

Your plants don't look bad bro, they should be able to continue normally, just as long as you get the RO water... the ppms shouldn't be over 300 at this point... But these plants in general are very strong, resilient...

I have noticed some growth; back that light up or get a t5 flourescent fixture from htgsupply.com; the t5 i have cost me like83 bucks shipped... and personnally, I think it's fuckin' great! works awesome for seedlings, cloning, and vegging!! You could hang these up, and save that hid for late veg or just flowering...

As of right now, I just put fresh frozen water bottles in tha DIY AC and have 1 600w runnin, and my temps are 86 inside my tent!!!! Finally below 90.

my temps got 4-5 degrees lower. Its only using a 6" 135cfm inline fan to blow air through tha frozen water bottles, so I think if i add more fans rather than more bottles, it would cool more. Ill get another 6" fan and attatch it to tha DIY AC and hopefully itll blow more cool air. Ill try it out today and post an update later on

Bouta hit up home depot and petsmart for supplies. Post back later

i just read through all of this right now and i have to agree with everyone about your window, god damn its creative but so obvious. I just started my first grow a month ago in soil with 1 400w hps and I have run into so many vent problems already because i am doing it in my closet at my apt. I went online and found this awesome thing called a water cooler, its like halfway between a fan and an ac unit, the only thing is that you have to fill it with water every 10-12 hours, but i dropped my temp by about 8-10 degrees and it only cost me $40.

As a few have said before and I agree it looks like you are getting greedy and only thinking about the potential $$ at the end of the rainbow, your apt looks ghetto as fuck with all those ducts going everywhere, good luck though i will watch on!

Thats why I chose not get that one, its a HUMIDIFER/cooler. Too much humidity is def bad for flowering plants

Or a dehumidifier. But why not just spend tha money on a $300 dual hose portable AC, and save money on inline fans and dehumidifiers. Thats wat im savin for next. All this frozen water and fans aint cuttin it for me. I want somethin more easily controllable.

Decided to go with CFLs to bring tha temp down. They had no inline fans at home depot, and plus they wasnt helpin temp at all. So heres tha new thang

Tha new CFL fixture setup over my babies



Right now I got 8 26w CFLs over tha 6 babies. Temp still high tho, but I think it's just from my room being too hot. My room stays aroud 80-85, so of course my tent stays around 86-89. I guess ima have to tell my roommates that ill pay 45% of tha light bill since ima be blastin that AC. Thats tha only thing I can think of right now.

Anywayz, heres my babies freshly flushed (fo real this time) with 5.5 pH TAP water. Fuckin Water pump I bought to pump water through tha RO Filter wasnt strong enough and only made about a drop of RO water every 1 min. Ima return it and get a WAY stronger one, cuz that one sucked dick. It was only 130 gph(gallons per hour), but I figured since tha RO Filter was 160 gpd(gallons per DAY), I thought that it would be enough but apparently it wasnt. Haha, heres that pics of tha lil girls I started this paragraph about.

They're lookin a lil better, hopefully with tha fresh water flush and fresh airstones I just bought for them, they should start to explode in GROWTH.



I wanted to start tha last 4 FEM seeds I have (2 more SLH and LSD). I was gonna put each one in its own 5 gallon bucket and start em with pure tap water, unless I get tha RO Filter workin by then, no nutes! I was gonna use an extra bucket and cut 4 holes for tha 4 seeds to start em and put em under tha CFLs with tha other ones.

Then when they get bigger, transplant them into their own 5 gallon. What yall think? There will be no nute or heat burn on these so they should catch up to tha week old ones pretty quick.

More plants + more light = high yeild. Right? And thats exactly what I have, plants and 1200w of light. Just gotta get my temps under control and I could reach my goal of 2 lbs

I fixed tha window a lil different and pulled tha blinds down so its not so noticeable. What yall think? Si o no? Im still trying to get it to blow out tha blinds perfectly without looking obvious, but for now, its not AS conspicuos as it was.

They do have inline fans at home depot; they have 6" 250cfm inline fan for under 30 bucks; it's in the hvac section, usually at the end of the plumbing section, look closely, they do have them... ask an employee, if they don't have it at the HD you wen t to try another, but they do carry them...

Im adding 4 more plants to bring tha grand total of 10 plants in 6 buckets, but its in a 4x8 area, so a 4x8 junngle of herb sounds sweet.

And tha I almost had tha RO Filter workin, but tha pump was too weak and it wasnt pushin enough water threw to come out tha blue tube. So im returnin it, if i can ind tha recipt, and gettin at least a 350gph pump, cuz that 135gph wasnt doin shit.

Ill post my Day 7 updates on here too I guess, yall seem to like this thread more than my actual journal, lol.

This is 1 of tha 4 DWC buckets I made to transfer tha new seedlings into once they get big enough.

Those 2 buckets in tha tent, are only in HALF of tha actual 4x8 tent, so its much bigger, and will fill out nicely with 10 plants

ok so im diggin the new setup, cleaner and just all around better, but why are u still making plants share buckets? This may be an incorrect assumption, but wouldnt it just be better to give each plant its own bucket so the roots can do their own thing?
