An all blueberry grow

The top buds are starting to turn purple because of the temp dropping during the night.
so I plugged in a little heater that heats the room while the light is off. :-o
also I bought a little bottle of Nil-odor to keep the smell under control. (works perfectly)
getting some new white hairs coming out of the buds, contrasting with the brown hairs nicely.
When i pinch a bud and then touch my fingers together the resin feels like I rubbed a glue stick!

About 80% of the trichs are cloudy, and maybe 5-10% are amber.
planning on harvesting on the 25th so a week from now.
I'm just flushing them right now, making sure to get a lot of runoff.
got some close-ups that aren't that great but in the next few days I'll be taking more
and trying to get the best budshots ever! :leaf:

I've given them another gallon of water to help flush out more salts. Been throwing the runoff away, so the plants aren't waterlogged.
I've been getting yellow leaves and burned tips. So I think I may have overdone the nutes on the last feeding.

So its day 51, or week Seven and two days of budding.
I've been having a lot of fun with the camera again, got a lot of pictures focusing mostly on trichomes.
I'm getting really excited to harvest these girls it's going to be a very green christmas!:weed:

Two more days to go!
do you guys think I should leave the lights off for the last day?
or is this another one of those old wives tales?
The smell is kinda weird now, it seems kind of like a deep hashy grape soda sweetness.
but I like it. I've never had a plant smell or taste this way before so it should be interesteing.
the buds are like little rocks too.
every time i pinch one I think it could double as a weapon when dry.

Tomorrow's the big day!
I'm just prepping everything for the trimming session.
vacuuming the trimming room, dusting, laying out papers etc.
should be a lot of work and stickyness!!

gonna take down the room again tomorrow. :finger:
BUT I'm germinating a seed found in some bud that had a real weird perfume smell.
that should turn out to be a new journal following the new seed.
Really really looking forward to cropping out on these blueberries.
I'm going to post some pics tomorrow of each plant before I cut em down.
and then the final weight of the dried plants.
probably have some pics of the plant and then focus on trichomes for the grand finale of this journal.

So a month later and I've sold the crop.. well, a half pound of it. and I've got the little plant started. Not sure of the strain but the leaves are short and fat at the moment so it's definitely not something I've grown. I'll have the new journal started soon. probably a few pics of the plant to start and it'll get better once I've sexed it and (hopefully) cloned.

alright!
this little plant took SO long to produce pistils, but now they are showing up at the top nodes.
I'm a little weary to clone it because it took so long to sex.
I want to grow it because it's mostly indica, but I have a feeling it'll be a horrible hermie.
on the good side I have a friend who says he's in the process of cutting me some Kush clones! so I might be growing two strains in the next grow.

OMG my account is still here!
I've been looking for work a lot lately and haven't been growing much.
but i have three blueberry plants started, and one is showing pistils.
I've shrunk the room by about two feet and plan on firing up the 1000 watt again to get some big mother plants and a lot of clones.

Alright!
Two of the smaller plants were stressed into males, So I've killed them leaving the big girl under the light alone.
I think within two weeks she should be ready to clone. I want as many as possible for a really nice SOG.

Good luck. Hope this works out for ya.

Just curious, have you solved your smell issue. A carbon filter will resolve that for you. I will go back thru your previous grows but I'm liking the pics so far.

Other than that, keep 'em green n mean.

No I haven't installed a filter yet.
I'm venting through a chimney so most of the smell dissipates after it leaves the house.
although last winter the temperature must have worked against this, because I could smell it almost everywhere outside!
You're right though I'm gonna buy one after cropping out on these plants.

The Blueberries are still alive! (despite the lack of updates)
I think within two weeks she should be ready to clone. I want as many as possible for a really nice SOG.
I pretty much ignored that plant while looking for a job so it vegged for a few months under florescent lights. I cloned her taking 6 fair sized clones. One didn't make it due to a chilly basement and neglect, The others were placed under a 400w light and transplanted twice.

I noticed the scent of these plants is almost identical to the blueberry, So I'll keep posting in here till I can pinpoint which strain it is.
Now I have the five plants in medium sized buckets under the 1000w hps.
still using the Advanced Nutrients grow, micro, bloom and big bud, probably use some molasses again when flowering.
using Pro-mix hp and will probably up-bucket one more time before switching to 12/12.

pics up in a few.
