ok when i went to walmart in an attempt to purchase soil and other materials for my first grow about 3 months ago. i had thought about using miracle grow.. i decided against it as MG was definatly not made with cannabis cultivation in mind!! i went to yellow pages and found a place that sold foxfarm it was a 40 mile drive but well worth it... i do not regret not using MG as filthy fletches post was the first time i have ever seen anyone grow succesfully with MG. i have read through so many journals and heard so many people on this site say that MG doesnt work and should not be used for cannabis that i would just stay on the safe side and stick with a custom mix or foxfarm!!

SO have we all decided that MG is not the way to go??? After reading all the replies i think everyone who uses MG should try out FoxFarm Ocean forest and see what difference it makes!!!

i used organic miracle grow and had knats. i have now learned that MG is known for knats. i won't use it again. you can use sand for top soil so they cannot breed. you can also put out some apple vinagar cidar to catch them in. you can also mix anti bacterial dish soap in your water to rid them of your soil..... stick with fox farm... unless you want to deal with all this stuff i have.... nevertheless, my shit still looks great.

so just because MG helps a plant grow, that doesn't mean the bud will be the tastiest bud on the planet. For those who have done side-by-side comparisons of the two, how did the final product compare? As a solid organics proponent, I would have to be inclined to believe one would get a better high from a completely organic grow process.

Miracle-gro has all that time realeased fert bullshit. So one day your plants will look malnourished, so you add a little fert. Then BAM!!! The time realease shit kicks in, burns the hell out of your plants, and you're scrathcing your head like "wtf?". And this is directly from experience.

Hello men and women....wow..I just wish that i didnt have a prehistoric comp to show u guys what miracle grow can really do for a crop...I grow with it and all the way through the budding process and done correctly u all would believe ur eyes. Not only do I use the soil, I use the nuts...for veg and then the flowering mg for 12/12..yes the ph can get screwwey, but...like I said u have to really be on top of it and correct the problem...I would put up any one of my plants against any others and would be shocked if any would look better and produce as much(strain dependent). Im under a 400, 12/12 at 4 weeks(13"/15" tall) and harvest 3/4 to a full pound(dried and cured) with six plants about 4'0 to 4'6" tall, main coals 20"+ around.....:hump: ....I certainly do wish that I had the capibilities to show u all......smoke on ..peace......

True if there is no problem then its better to let it be, but do you have any interest in car performance? If you do then think of it this way, there is a guy that wants to race you, he has a car running about 400HP. And your car which has nothing wrong with it has 300HP. You didnt upgrade turbos because there was nothing wrong with it. So he stomps your ass in the ground. A month later you get a new HKS turbo, intercooler, exhaust exc. And your run more boost and acheive 500HP. Then you go back and stomp his ass, and you realize you will get better results with better shit.

So to me, i would just rather have what is best. MM is ok but if there is better out there then ima use it.

well my friend like I said..I tried it both way..and im sure there are WAY better organtic nuts(lol) now to when I tried uears agao..(everything organtic now)..so I would have to see whats out there NOW..but for the results(for me) i cannot possible aske my ladies to produce any more ..and quality...SHOOT.....i just cannot tell it all...loil...take care my freind ..smoke on..peace..

Yeah, we all have diiferent of styles of doinf what we do. So aslong as there is quality bud being smoked on this earth then things are fine.

haha yeah, alwase share. Or else you aint gonna have alot of friends to toke with. haha, i get so pissed when people smoke right infront of me and dont offer atleast a hit. I alwase ask if others wonna hit it.
