no, im saying we should not allow children in churches. it makes them think the religion is right, without letting them decide for themselves. they see one side of the spectrum, and they grow up KNOWING it is right. so why would they want to learn science and all these things that will prove them wrong? because they believe in it so much...

once u get to that point of making the child believe what the bible says is the absolute truth, its almost impossible for them to not believe in it as an adult. adults make decisions that affect my life, and yours. it affects our society as a whole

trust me... the gay thing isnt the only problem i have with religion haha. it was just the topic that i decided to choose. i understand what u r saying though.
i dont think if we stop talking about it, it will go away. not talking about it gives the opportunity for someone else to be the only person talking about it. and who knows what personal/religious feelings they have about the topic? who knows what they will tell people, and what those people will see as truth?
there is always the chance of someone taking advantage of the people in a religion. their minds believe in it so much, that the "preacher" can essentially talk them into thinking a certain way.
