Howard thank you much this is a grat comunity and i did get a lot of info from here been at it for two years the first year i read everything after gettin frustrated from not getting answers at all and to slow --i got pissy and started cinsuming everything inside outsde cooking beginner to experience --i go ta any forum and read posts and answers --vistted many places read lots of info --then returned here cause in my quest i learned this place is the best ------i know what nanners are and search each plant once a day look them over and see if they have any info for me on their needs if we listen to them and learn how torespond to their needs all is good across the land -they will be happy and n tern make us hapy hapy hapy

I agree bro RIU is the BEST site for help and info! And the reason that it is great is because there are great growers here that are willing to help! Back in the old days you had limited recorces for info on growing, and most of the people that knew how to grow wouldn't help you out! There are great farmers on here like WBW and many others that are willing to help and that is what makes RIU a great place. I wouldn't have had one tenth of the success that I have had on my grows without this place.

im growin different feelings for the pollen now im seeing what it can do- nature is still a mistery to me why polen take on one plant not on other one seed from this one and 100 from that one i dont get it --but any way one clone and the #18 is gonna have lots of seeds their baby daddy is the res chemdog x sour diesel -i onlydid two branches each but clone was 1 branch an most of main bud -and both are lookin fine - after i hit the HB it prolly go bad befor another female is redy to get nocked up -so we talk

I just want to give ya my 2 cents and to say I agree with Dezracer. I run a 600 in my 4x4 wood cabinet and its perfect imo. Had no heat issues as long as the room is 5 degree or so cooler than what I want in the cabinet. I exhaust back into the room. When I was putting it together me working in there it raised the room temps, with the light on testing it would climb to 90+ so I shut it down. I was WTF? I left for a while smoked a blunt and came back said fuck it and put the plants in there. Now its running cool. WTF? I check the room temps and the room had cooled back down a few degrees and with plants in there 77-79 yea baby. My cab sucks air from the bottom (temps at floor level are 4-5 deg cooler, and the cab ran +- 6 degrees warmer than the room. My 1000 runs about 8 or 9 degress warmer. In a closet if you do have heat cut a hole in the sheetrock and blow it in the attic. Thats waht I was going to do if I didnt get the temps where I wanted. Its easy to fix when you move. Ill fix it far ya lol. The prob in a closet is cool air in while keeping light out...you would need a light trap. You can use the wall as a duct. Find the studs. cut a hole between the studs outside the closet at the bottom for intake, get a cheap grille at home depot, go in the closet cut another hole up near the ceiling between the same studs... suck the air throgh reflector and out the ceiling into the attic...works Ive done it before...lol

And if your looking for a ballast get the digital, I have a galaxy, runs quiet and cool. I have a digilux 600 mh in there now vegin and when I want to flower I screw in my horti hps, digitals run both one ballast...When I went up to the 1000 my electric bill went up like $30...Its the gallaxy 1000/600/400 with a 1k dual arc. That ballast runs very warm and has a freakin in it...A digital ballast is money well spent if ya got the cash...

Can ya tell I have no weed and Im bored...lol Later bro..

man lol funny storey and has nothing to do with nothing... i was at this chinease buffet resteraunt earlier today right... and it was sooo fucking crowded because its all you can eat and its lobster night right... so i go in there with my girl right and its fuckiing full has hell!!! and i hate people!!! let alone a room full of fucking people i dont know and potentially prolly wont like... there is a huge ass line to even get a table so i bypass that by just cutting in line... but like that we didnt get a table but luckyily i found this lil ass 2 person table in a section were we was all packed like sardines and shit..there was only one chair so i saw an older china man right next to me and he had 2 chairs... so i was like excuse me sir can i get that chair.. he tried to tell me someshit but i couldnt understand so i just cuffed that chair...

i go to get food right... and its like a zoo.. lil yellow moth fuckers all bumping into me and shit.... it was fast paced has hell i felt all rushed.. THE LINE FOR THE LOBSTER WAS HUGE!!! it was soo crowded i felt like smashing one of those lil fuckers man!!!! i had to roll out that motha fucker before i was gonna snap.. lol i wasted 30 bux on nothing i aint shit but a beef rib standing up, and my girl only ate a lil too.. she was soo mad.. i just couldnt be in that situation has a very angry antisocial mother fucker i am you know.... i was choke one of them lil yellow niggas out just cuzz there was too many of them in too close an area and they were getting between me and my food... lol i got problems i know

I was checking out those dual arc bulbs. How do you like it? Have you taken any plants through to harvest with it yet?

I like the bulb, how it looks, I have a light spreader under it. I can see the mix of colors in the tent slightly from dif angles. and if the zipper is open a bit I see colors on the wall. If all the hype is right it should be good. I didnt get the stretch like the 600 hps but I have all dif strains this round. Not sure yet first grow with it. Ill know when I see what kinda ave yeild I get with it. I dont like the price $$$. But I thought I would give it a shot.
