Calm down bro. First recall the details of how the phone call played out? Did the phone mention anything about ," This call may be monitored for quality assurance"? If yes, then there is a strong possibility that fedex may have a record of a phone call, other than that, there is no way to tell who called unless you actually gave your number to fedex. Second, that box has been handled by more than one person which means there are way to many finger prints to cross reference,plus you would have to have been finger printed in that state in order for them to have a reference.

Look at it this way, You made a call about a package but they don't know who you are so as long as you don't say nothing they don't know nothing. There has been nothing that directly incriminates you! Keep it that way!

i agree ,i know a lot of people that use fed ex.i myself was going to do it but friend moved bck from florida so i didnt.there is a whole lot more goin on in the states 4 them to worry about than 2 zips one ofthe cops probly took that shit home with him. next time wipe ur prints

Very correct. FedEx goes above and beyond when it comes to cooperating with authorities. They are INTERNATIONAL shippers and do not want any grief from the MAN. I would imagine the all authorities involved have anything FEDEX has. That tracking number was certainly flagged after detection. They do have your phone number. I highly doubt that fedex traced your call. They may very well have recorded it but I doubt they have caller ID on their trunk lines- what would be the point? You ought to change your number so it always comes up private unless you unblock it. I'd be more worried about your boy, he's being watched for sure.

This is the only logical response on this thread, some of you guys watch way too much CSI . consider where the package was coming from and going to. both states have bigger issues on their hands than you. if they are going to charge you with a federal crime they would have to get the feds involved. that is IF they can trace it back to you. a package with your address on it is never going to be sufficient grounds to get a warrant. good job being wise enough not to send it through the US mail, that could leave you open to a charge. fed-ex and ups are private courier services.

Some one in suburban NY got arrested for having 16 pounds of pot shipped to him from humbolt over the span of a month. They track the packages for a while to see who else they can find getting mail from that address, they always wait. They have 7 years to arrest you, they aren't going to jeopardize learning more about the situation just to jump on someone. Evidence is evidence, once they have it, there isnt anything you can do. Its a federal offense as well as it has crossed state lines.

Smart move. The long and the short of it is don't ship weed period.

If you don't know how, have someone else do it, or get rid of it, 'cause they WILL confiscate it for evidence. Where I live, anything over an oz. is getting serious, even for a first offense. Sucks man, but you got yourself into a hell of a jam. Plus, you ALWAYS do jail-time, for a felony. Just saying.....

BINGO.... They have the recipient's info and while they can't charge him unless they set him up (which they now can't do), they can sweat him hard and try to get him to get them to 'go easy'.... I'd have a good talk to my buddy, from a pay phone without ID'ing myself or allowing him to say my name...

chances are, they have no clue what your number is if you went through prompts and stuff. i could be wrong, but when i call a company, they always have to get my number as confirmation. normally if you dialed a line direct they may have your number, but again, a big place like fed ex paying for caller id on that many phone lines? i doubt it...
