save ur $ homie and dont be scared to spend a lot on one piece! none of my tubes r 1000$...some pretty close though!

EDIT... i buy A LOT of glass from head shops,randomly snag things from ALT when they have somthing i like and worth buying...i must admit that they are a bit over priced...

EXAMPLE: i paid $600 for my circ to circ toro with some worked rasta colors from a shop,im sure a lot of u have seen it here... circ to circ toros on ALT price for $750..

I do like that Micro Collab... Alot better then the cheap and poorly molded copper. Seriously, a kilo of extremely pure copper costs $10. That's $10 for a single kilo that any of us cold buy. What do you think Poplars?

yeah but how much do you think it would cost in effort and materials to bond pure copper to glass? to make something that amazingf? the cost is completely warranted to me, but luckilly they're slowly going down in price for the inlines and shit, in a few years I could see them being a bit more reasonably priced. as they are rather new...

I'd say it largly depends on the bud.... my outdoor chitowns sour kush compared to it's own HIGH grade bubble hash, I prefer the high of the bud.

but if I was making the hash oil out of the same bud that'd be a different story... I say that's a bad idea because if you have hella chronic bud you should smoke it, if you have hella chronic hash it should be a celebratory thing, not an every day thing imo.

My thinking is that its not like bud where with time it cures to become better. Im not sure on this but wouldnt the oil degrade faster..? So Ive been smoking alot, trying to get the most out of it. I must say out of all styles of hash I make. I always go back to bho.. really high

It's funny because everybody is making a profit and it makes you wonder how much it was ORIGINALLY sold for. These are one of a kind pieces so lowered prices for bulk doesn't apply.... Ooh I'm into this discussion again. Much love Verde for making this thread! Can't rep you again yet. Sorry.

That's invariably true. Well said. It's something I've always loved about free trade. A item always has a different worth to a different person. I'm being slightly foolish in that sense by saying it shouldn't cost that much. X^D

And you're right...no reason it cost so much...with materials you're looking at no more than $10,probably less, for just your basic straight tube....and I've seen the "electroformed" (coated with copper) tubes in person at my local heady shop....not really that cool to me....they look like someone shit all over the tube....IDK....just not my style.

Thats an electroformed piece.... They submerse the glass in a liquid, with negative and positive currents hooked up to COPPER plates, then the copper moves from the plates, and is transferred through the medium ONTO the glass... electroformed copper. That's why it's sooo much money, but personally I don't find electroformed copper attractive in glass I'd much rather SEE that crystal clear expertly worked glass scientifically designed to get me high

I feel you on this, though you are not considering the COST of the electroforming process.... WHO does it, where is the equipment, does the glass company maintain it themselves?

If not, thats paying the technician/repair guy/ AND artist, then either the company PAYING for the equipment, or PAYING the company that has it for use PLUS that companies upkeep fees...


It all gets rather expensive, and the more people you involve, the more checks you have to fill out, and all of this gets included in the final price PLUS profit for the glass company and employees.


But, yeah, not worth it.

u would spend that kinda $ on one of those?...id go with a FYC piece anytime of the day over any illadelph!..Most FYC have 3 artist that work on them,hense why their so expensive,every artist needs to get paid son! lol

So i realized i dont have that many nice slides so i got my self a new SALT slide!

Im having the hardest fucking time trying to find a stemline..All the ones on aqualab fail and the only stemline on B.M is a 75mm king stemline thats starting bid is $350 and its only going higher, and I cant afford it haha.
