My Eventual Perpetual Garden; Round 1: Chronic Haze Clones and Attitude seeds.

All of the first 5 plants I grew were topped for 2, 4, or 6 colas. The only one that got topped for 2 colas was sativa dominant and stretched like crazy. The shorter indica dominant ones with 4 and 6 colas should have been pruned a bit to reduce the popcorn buds at the bottom. I think I will be topping the white widow and sugar black rose for 4 colas to see how it works in my now perpetual garden with more light.

It is amazing how quickly they beef up during the first 3 weeks of flower/stretch. Of course they each got almost 7 full weeks of veg before they were transitioned to flower. :hump:

I don't top them until 5 or 6 nodes tall, which has been taking a good 25 - 30 days this winter. Then they get 2 - 3 weeks to recover from the topping, get transplanted, and trained. My first round of bagseed plants didnt get nearly as much veg, any training, or as big of pots for their roots, so I am hoping for good yield if I can control the CCOB canopy and not re-veg them this time. :dunce:

Do you use anything like dyna gro protekt or other silica supplement?
No, my nute list is posted in this thread, but now that I am using RO water I am trying to trim down the amount of nutes and supplements I use. I am going to stop using the Humboldt supplements and the Botanicare Sweet. I am going to use only the full line of GO Nutes with Hygrozyme, Guano twice in flower, and possibly the Oregonism for the micro/mycho in the soil (but I think the hygrozyme is supposed to eliminate the need for those).

Wembley just got 6 tablespoons of guano, covered by pro mix, and watered in with RO water and 6 tablespoons of Oregonism. The Kush will get transitioned to flower today, the drowned SCROG will go in the dark for 3 days, the LSD is getting up-canned to a #3 smart pot, and I think I am going to germ another seed today. :hump:

Here is my current/planned nute regimen for the immediate future. I didn't put Oregonism on there but I have 1.5 tubs left so I think I am going to give it to the Wembley but not give it to Wonder Woman or Kush and see if I notice any major difference in the medium or plant health.

I was just taking pics and got a card read error, and it looks like I need to format my media. I hope it works as I am not sure if I have a spare card for it.

*Pics survived, and I formatted the card anyway. It seems to work fine now. Good thing cuz I took 4,859 pics of my garden this year already.

The (re-veg) SCROG bucket CH#6 went dark yesterday after being drowned under the lights for 3 days. I also cut and hung the other 2 re-revg plants that have been in the dark. They dont look like they will be much fun to trim for butter/hash.

I just found out the mystery 'kush' seed I moved to flower, that I got from a friend of a friend, was feminized by said friend. As a result I pruned and started training the KKS to be moved to flower in the next 5 - 7 days. I will post some pics of the training later and try to take some pics of the wonder woman and wembley. The wonder woman is turning into a monster.

Cliff notes:

I got sick of looking at the last magnesium deficient, re-veg'd chronic in the flower box so I dragged her to the dark room with the rest of her sisters. The SSCROG bucket should provide an ounce or more of decent smoke but the other 3 that were harvested early are going straight to hash/butter.

Nothing wrong with making some baked goods.

On a sidenote, I've never tried revegging. Is it really as simple as putting them back into a veg light cycle?

Mine was accidental, and yes it would appear so. The bypass timer got slightly switched by me on the timer for the flower room and 5 plants in various stages of flower spent 5 - 7 days on 24/0. I didn't have my remote temp sensor setup like I should have (because it was monitoring my drying room, unnecessarily) so i didnt realize the temps in flower weren't dropping during lights-off.

Happy accidents, eh? I'll be sure to keep watch, I'm having trouble finding any journals that show a plant being revegged from start to finish.

I don't really feel like typing an update, so here it is with pics and labels. The 3 plants in flower so close together will likely cause a wrinkle in my perpetual system later, but I couldn't have only 2 or 3 plants under 1kw of lights. :bigjoint:

How long did you veg that Kannabia Special for?
46days exactly. She was topped 24 days ago but her node spacing is incredibly tight. I was shooting for 2 months from germ to flower and came pretty close. She is currently 51 days from germ. The Wembley veg'd for 47 days, the 'Kush' for 41 days, and the Wonder Woman for 49 days.

I think I should have transplanted out of the #1 pots sooner. I bought a couple #5 smart pots (12" diameter, instead of 10" like the #3's) and some 14" watering trays. I am going to try veg'ing right from seed into #2 smart pots and transplant to #5's for flower. I will only be able to fit 5 of these big pots in flower, so I need to be sure it will be worth it.

Here is the wonder woman with a lighter for scale. I thought you asked about the wonder woman first. I typed a reply, posted a pic of the WoW, and realized you were asking about the KKS, not the Wow. Too early in the morning. :bongsmilie:

lol thanks for the WOW though. i just germinated one so that looks great. and I have been here for awhile and have to say sorry about the loss after 24/0 and i hate to say it but the flower room almost looks the same as the day you started, STILL LOOKS BAD ASS. But i feel your pain in that i got a few spider mites on two in veg and before they spread I killed them. and did a super clean on the room.

Yes, I am smoking the last bud from my first chronic, I have the one SCROG in the dark that I am going to chop and hang today, and the other 3 chronics are going right into the hash pile. One good thing about my flower box now is that it went from 400w hps to 600w hps to 600hps/400mh total of mixed spectrum and better temps. :hump:

I got a little scissor happy on the WoW again this morning, so I decided to fire up the cloner bucket quickly and see if I can keep a couple of the cuttings around. I just quickly cut and split the branches with my non-sterile scissors, so cross your fingers. I am on my way downstairs right now to take 1 or 2 cuttings from the Wembley also, and will try to use a razor blade and some cloning gel this time.

I will try to post a few pics later tonight after lights out. I still haven't decided if I am going to do any more CCOBs in the near future, until I see how these ones finish, but I may need to do something with the sativa dom pheno of the LSD I got as the node spacing is pretty significant.

Im waiting on my LSD to get here i would just try LST with her just use eye screws around the rim of the bucket, thats what i plan on doing any way

I got 5, tried germing 2, and 1 didn't germ. I am using smart pots so I would need to use stakes in the soil, binder clips on the fabric edge, or I will probably just throw cage over her and try another CCOB. That may be the best way for me to go in the future. Top the indica dom strains for 4 colas and flower, then ccob/lst the stretchier sativa dom phenos. I topped my white widow the other day above the 3rd node because the first true node had the mag deficiency issues and the branches haven't taken off. I expect to prune the first node off later and let the 2nd and 3rd nodes go for flowering 4 total colas.
