Cool;, I want to go that route next grow or maybe next year. Tired of doing drain to waste. Just gonna have to buy a chiller too.Well.. I didn't actually do it myself, but the hubby did!! He's quite handy lol Guess that's why I keep him around!
Thanks Weedler!! Glad to have ya, I'll have to check out your grow!! + repLooking great, clean setup I love tents keeps everything nice keeps bugs out just all around great to grow in! You can tell the quality is better in your tent vs. mine you get what you pay for saying is always true. My two tents have lasted well with some minor maintenance and upkeep, I am going to be closely watching this one!
I think hydro is a lot easier! I kill everything I put in dirt from over and/or under watering. With hydro, you just make sure your res is filled to the right level and your plants get the perfect amount of water!I feel like I need to get a DWC system in my 2x2x5 grow lab
Just soilin it up for now! Do you think DWC is easier once you get a handle on it? Or is it more finicky, yet rewarding?
Thanks TBK glad to have ya!! +repgreat thread... you got a nice setup, no doubt.. lookin happy and healthy, awesome, i'm sub'd! happy 420!
That is awesome Matty!! So glad to hear that do you plan on making a journal of this?? Post a link if you do I would love to check it out!!I would like to inform you that because of this thread we are 100% setting up a RDWC system for my caregiver while I continue with my aero/nft homebuilt system so we can compare and contrast the pros and cons of each. I'm pretty sure the RDWC will give us more yield but i'm a bit worried as our overhead height at the grow there is only about 4 feet (without lights hanging yet) I'm thinking of building individual scrog nets for each bucket so we can keep them short and still maintain manuverability throughout the grow.
Best of luck to you as well and congrats on the MMJ cardi will def be posting a journal once my caregivers setup is ready to rock and roll. finally got to the doctor today so i am now (once the state processes my application) a registered MMJ patient. We have affirmative defense here but I don't want to post any pics until i have the card in my hand ya know? It's going to be a while before my friend can set his grow up because again he wants the card in his hand and he's in the process of moving. I will keep you up to date but until then grow on GrowMomma (and papa) and I wish you the best of luck
I feel ya, i keep a current doctor recommendation for sure.. but truthfully, i think there's a shit load of people on here who don't.. and prolly a shitload in states that aren't even medical states.. lol, but good for you to be on top of things and keep it legit..i will def be posting a journal once my caregivers setup is ready to rock and roll. finally got to the doctor today so i am now (once the state processes my application) a registered MMJ patient. Ha! I wish lol. Although I do like to draw, I can't take credit for that one.growmomma- did you draw the last avatar you had up?
I hear it is a percentage game. You can expect at least 10% gains, but the ceiling is pretty high on the limit. I'd say 25% more is an average reported by most growers... but somewhere between 20% and 30% is a little more accurate. Having everything dialed in environmentally is the real key. From temp to humidity to CO2 ppms. That's how you go from a .5 grams per watt (about 1 lbs per 1000w) to 1.0 grams per watt and double your harvest weight versus a grow troubled by poor genetics, nutrient and pH imbalances, and a less than ideal environment.Ugh!!! Well my husband has done it again!! He's gone out n bought another upgrade........co2. Do the additions ever end??? And please someone reassure me that this costly purchase will be VERY beneficial!?!?
