Ron Paul doesn't have a snow ball's chance in Hell of becoming King of Amerika. His last batshit crazy statement about the civil rights act pretty much put the nail in the coffin.

Carne, the only people who believe in the big racist white boogie man anymore are 90 year old black folks and the far left. Everyone else knows you get what you work for anymore.

did you read his speech about the civil rights act or not? I really doubt it, sounds like you guys just took msnbc's word for it.

Again...Civil rights act didn't wave its magic wand and end racism - Ron Paul was saying it could of been written better as to not infringe on peoples rights, he agreed that it was a great thing to end segregation.

This is not Racism.

MY post from a earlier in this thread, please read it this time:

This is why MSNBC says hes a racist (and yea it is only MSNBC that ran this twisted shit initially)

On June 4, 2004, Congress hailed the 40th anniversary of the 1964 Act. Only the heroic Ron Paul dissented. Here are his comments.
Mr. Speaker, I rise to explain my objection to H.Res. 676. I certainly join my colleagues in urging Americans to celebrate the progress this country has made in race relations. However, contrary to the claims of the supporters of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the sponsors of H.Res. 676, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not improve race relations or enhance freedom. Instead, the forced integration dictated by the Civil Rights Act of 1964 increased racial tensions while diminishing individual liberty.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 gave the federal government unprecedented power over the hiring, employee relations, and customer service practices of every business in the country. The result was a massive violation of the rights of private property and contract, which are the bedrocks of free society. The federal government has no legitimate authority to infringe on the rights of private property owners to use their property as they please and to form (or not form) contracts with terms mutually agreeable to all parties. The rights of all private property owners, even those whose actions decent people find abhorrent, must be respected if we are to maintain a free society.
This expansion of federal power was based on an erroneous interpretation of the congressional power to regulate interstate commerce. The framers of the Constitution intended the interstate commerce clause to create a free trade zone among the states, not to give the federal government regulatory power over every business that has any connection with interstate commerce.
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 not only violated the Constitution and reduced individual liberty; it also failed to achieve its stated goals of promoting racial harmony and a color-blind society. Federal bureaucrats and judges cannot read minds to see if actions are motivated by racism. Therefore, the only way the federal government could ensure an employer was not violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was to ensure that the racial composition of a business's workforce matched the racial composition of a bureaucrat or judge's defined body of potential employees. Thus, bureaucrats began forcing employers to hire by racial quota. Racial quotas have not contributed to racial harmony or advanced the goal of a color-blind society. Instead, these quotas encouraged racial balkanization, and fostered racial strife.
Of course, America has made great strides in race relations over the past forty years. However, this progress is due to changes in public attitudes and private efforts. Relations between the races have improved despite, not because of, the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
In conclusion, Mr. Speaker, while I join the sponsors of H.Res. 676 in promoting racial harmony and individual liberty, the fact is the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not accomplish these goals. Instead, this law unconstitutionally expanded federal power, thus reducing liberty. Furthermore, by prompting raced-based quotas, this law undermined efforts to achieve a color-blind society and increased racial strife. Therefore, I must oppose H.Res. 676.

LondonFrog - This is why people talk about "Freedom" when they talk about Ron Paul - Ron Paul stands by the people and our founders 100% - - one of the few politicians that speak on behalf of our founders and the people. You really think the Civil Rights Act Waved its magic wand and ended racism? That is what he is saying here, he is saying there could of been integration done in a better way, without violating peoples rights. Real Simple. Be careful what you read or see in the mainstream media.

Oh but you're wrong. Because you are not for Ron Paul therefore your eyes and ears don't work properly, so, those who do follow Ron Paul must tell you what he said. Forget that you watched the interview in it's entirety. Forget that you have an independent mind capable of working things out for yourself. You are wrong because THEY said so. Oh, and you're un-American. Yep. Did I miss anything?

yea your probably some kind of satanist or something else that is anti-human that or socialist, maybe you believe in eugenics also idk whats your deal? are you guys ceo's? please explain?

lol I am only joking guys, but for real its hard for me to understand how a human being can support obama im sorry it must be some sort of disease I have that desires freedom for my fellow man and their children and grand children. Freedom is really a sickness of man, it is struggled for around the world, america has enjoyed a lot of freedom over the past years but that freedom is slowly being taken away from us one piece of legislation at a time.

i base that statement solely on the traits of his followers.

these are ideas that are anti-humanity, Eugenics is the nazi science that led to the holocaust (anti-humanitarian, in favor of science over human life) - Freedom is something we all desire and again that is slowly being taken away one peice of legislation at a time, legislation that ron paul stood up against, because he protected the consitution and the American dream.

I first learned of eugenics and socialism in like 6th grade or something? since then I have read quite a few books on both topics. Infact I really like socialism in some small countrys under specific circumstances like cuba it worked pretty well for them Id say. You sure are one for stereotyping, to call me one that stereotypes haha you are some kind of a closet racist arent you? You seem racist to the white man, or the southern american, or the redneck...Are you not?

It seems thats what you have sterotyped me as, in your own words a "repuke" - so I see why you are voting for obama now - your believe in this left/right bullshit and you hate this image which is painted for you of the right. Drop the hate brother and have an open mind and heart please.

no I wouldn't describe myself as an alex jones fan but I do listen to the show sometimes, he is very deceitful, it is like the national enquirer of politics in my mind I guess you could say and can be entertaining, sometimes he has some interesting guest or topics and I will listen, I mean he does like 3 hours of radio a day or some crap and sometimes nothing else is on. I subscribe to every news network or radio talk and video - I listen to the topics that sound interesting to me.

I am no loyal follower of any network or program but there is some progams which I am biast to, I like a lot of the programming on RT America (http://www.rt.com) - it gives the opposite prospective from the mainstream - I also do watch the mainstream and I find it the most entertaining. RT has shows from every part of the political spectrum, there is even a progressives program and one left/right paradime that your so in to lol

good luck with your Freedom ... maybe you can follow the underground railroad of Harriet Tubman...WTF
yea ill be sure to use the underground railroad when people start not allowing whites in their shop because of what ron paul said about civil rights act. Are you proud of supporting economic slavery? Are you proud to support the wars? the drug war? the drug war is the most racist shit there is.

and you likely call yourself a progressive, more like depressive.
