When I was designing we had 3 ranges to make patterns for, this was for Maidenform I believe, might have been Warnaco. The smallest DD I remember designing is a 34 and those orders rarely came in. 36D we made all day long. I dated a girl in high school who was one of you skinny ass italians with big boobs, but you people are the reason why I quit designing bras.
I got really frustrated trying to get patterns to fit, when the business started moving to China is when I moved back to the states.
