In 1965, when Obama was 4 years old, his dad, writing as “Barak H. Obama” (the Communist-preferred spelling) wrote an essay on “African Socialism and its Applicability to Planning in Kenya”.

reform vs. revolution......capitalism can be reformed under socialist ideas. african socialism in that time was pretty mainstream. don't paint it to be like he was plotting some evil scam. how the fuck did he get elected then? seriously.............. he advocated his "socialist" views and america bought it. healthcare wasn't dropped outta no where. at the time people didn't think socialism when they heard about his healthcare plan. they thought.........hey that would really be nice for millions of unfortunate americans who die every year because they can't pay for a hospital. yes people can and will abuse it. but its the fact that he's not this crazy guy no one expected. if anything he's lied about refining congress. he finally realized that he's powerless in that situation and has backtracked his firm stance to "can't we all get along?"

totally agree, but when talking estimations in the billions, a politicians word should be taken with a grain of salt. especially when theres money being thrown about the world like a war we shouldn't be involved in.

funny that when people are polled about what is in the PPACA, they respond favorably.

when asked about the bill as a whole, it swings to unfavorable.

credit the right on a good smear campaign for that one.

its all about ammunition. ammunition for the future. what if the financial collapse of 07-08 never happened? what if mortgage loans didn't collapse under obama's term. we'd all be singing a different tune. and the bailouts........sorry but i think any president would have done the same. i'd like to see the economy's state without a bailout of the people who own your fucking house.

ok.........we agree on this. glad to have this debate with you. while we may have different views on things we do agree on the basis somethings. reforming our government and the way it operates economics. i want Social Security when im 65. thats what pisses me off that as a 22 year old im already realizing my options for such a program get slimmer by the fucking day. i love this country. wouldn't trade it for anything. but greed is just one hell of a thing.
