keep talking we love it.

all fat people choose to be fat. all unhealthy people choose to be unhealthy.

plus by taking 600 bucks a year from them it will cut down on all that money they have to feed their family.....who undoubtedly are fat too.

did anyone mention that the foreclosure rate is at an alltime high? yes, 600 bucks a year is a pittance
Ohh lol I'm tired. Sorry mate <3

1. Diabetes caused by unhealthy living
2. Obesity causing inability to walk, caused by unhealthy living
3. Heart attacks caused by unhealthy living
4. Strokes is also caused by unhealthy living
5. the MS argument is BS, this has nothing to do with them...

So the city makes a plan to prevent people getting sick. But the people who don't care needs to pay because they will be a burden in the health care systems... Sooooooo unfair ehh?

lmfao, yes, its a plan to make you healthy. it will definitely cut down on people getting sick. especially by charging them 600 dollars a year.

my doctor is a great man. he is fat too. fat lazy fucker.

Lol, the people that want to get healthier wouldn't be paying anything more.

So yes, it's a plan to make you healthier.

Exactly! And the people who doesn't want to get healthy, and thereby is a burden to the health care system, will have to pay more.. Can't see the problem.. :)

i dont see anything wrong with this. people will be healthier, and the ones that dont want to do it will be paying for their higher medical costs. so it cuts down on that 'socialized medicine' you guys seem to hate

yes cuz we all know people have tons of extra money around for things like food, smokes and lottery tickets ;)
thats the point of having the higher taxes on cigarettes. and the same thing with fast food or candy if they did that. it would be more expensive, so less people will buy it(especially poor people, which these goods affect the most). if its something that causes health problems, there is less health problems because of those higher taxes. although cigarettes are kind of iffy because people are addicted and just end up paying more for their addiction haha

thats exactly why we hate socialized medicine goofy.

cuz we have to pay for other peoples problems.

did i mention how much i love hearing you liberals (communists mofos) talk? tell us more reasons why this is fair and a good policy.

folks, this is too fucking easy.

tell us how those rich office working city workers, with all their spare time and extra money should be forced into participating in this program. we cant wait to hear it.

and when i say forced, i mean FORCED. cuz you are either going to excercise or you are gonna pay. so you are forced to do somehting you werent already doing.

so higher taxes leads to better health? lol stop please my stomach hurts from laughing.

and i am all over limiting what poor people can do, buy, eat....i think we should make a law that says no fat, poor kid, should be allowed to eat hotdogs.....cuz they are bad for you.

are any of you other guys listening to this? these libs are fucking hilarious.

hey how about this, those poor people are well known for driving shitty cars that emit lots of bad carbon dioxide. we should start taxing CO2 emitting, shitty cars, so they cant afford them......so we can save oursleves from poor people.

i simply love the mind of a liberal.....so....so....."progressive"

is communism spelled with a big C or a little one? hehe

What do you think should happen, just curious, what would you do to differentiate the medical costs of healthy vs. unhealthy people?

You actually think it's fair that an in shape non-smoker pay as much as a smoking fat ass? Where's your logic?

By the way, I have no idea what these labels mean that you're throwing out, liberals, progressives.:-?

once again, your doctor is rich... he can be fat... he's not a 'burden' on the health care system as you call it...

it's the fat poor guys that are a 'burden'... using your lingo, not mine...

you conservatives crack me up... you'll assail against abortion, WE MUST PROTECT LIFE.... but suddenly all that life becomes a 'burden' on the system once it comes into being.... lololololol

Ohh yeah you should put taxes on CO2 emissions btw... Think about the future of the world.. To compensate, lower the income taxes on the first 40g you earn, then add the tax cuts to the next 60g you earn.. Should even out the extra money paid by the poor.. And people earning 100 g per year would pay the same in income tax, but they'll have to pay some CO2 emission taxes.. Problem fixed.

maybe cuz its none of your fucking business what i do in my "spare" time. maybe i work 3 fucking jobs to pay for my kids college and dont get to eat healthy, home cooked, calorie balanced food. maybe i have a condition that keeps me fat, like GENETICS, ever heard of it? maybe my wife who works for the city while i babysit the kids until she gets home so i can go to work, maybe she cant get extra time for excercise. or maybe i cant get to the gym becasue i am a trash worker for the city and going to college at night to better myself so i can become a fat lazy doctor or pharmicist....and just maybe, ITS NON OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS WHAT I DO AND WHEN I DO IT.

and we competely understand you not getting the whole "labels" thing.

To clarify. Lets say a person earning 100 grand pays 10 grand in taxes i.e 10 %.

But a person earning 30 g only pays 2 g in taxes i.e 6.67 % in taxes.

Now you add 1 grand for CO2 emissions tax

the person earning 30 grand is now paying 10% taxes and the person earning 100 grand gets a rather small tax increase relative to his income, but this tax is helping the climate.. Which is more valuable than many think..

Lol, yeah, never the employer's business. Wonder why so many places require UA's to get in if what you do in your spare time doesn't matter.

Genetics=obesity, LMAO!!

And have fun labeling people all your life, it's actually pretty sad.
