I think it should be legalized too. My concern is that voting in Medical mj is a step in a positive direction, and that people abusing the intent of the medical law are simply jeopardizing the positive step we've been given.i really feel sorry for your condition and that's awesome that you have found the right strain to help control your condition, and i do believe that people with condition's such as yours deserve's a good price.but i do not believe it should only be used for medicinal.over 22 million american's smoke weed.
Medical laws and "legalized" are two different things. There have always been illegal growers seeking profit..always will be. It just irks me that they try to use medical laws to justify what they do.
Responsible and respectful use of the medical law would help the legalize cause. Had dispensaries opened in clean store fronts, no marijuana leaves for a sign, respectable looking people running the operation, dispensing mj that's been tested and labeled for chemical composition, sorted by type of condition the different strains are usable for..etc,etc, etc....The state authorities. and feds would be much more likely to think " wow, this is actually a reasonable attempt to be legit".
Had "care givers" used reasonable plant counts (not maximum) and sought reasonable profits from their efforts, not maximum cash flow...the State might be far less worried about cracking down.
I have no problem if you wish to grow illegally (Hell, I did, starting in the 60's) just don't claim the efforts are for "medicinal" reasons. I also don't care if some one gets a card for less than "chronic and debilitating" conditions...just be responsible in your use, and don't flaunt it.
My rant is directed at people posting in the "medical" forums..with less than medical intentions.
Post in General, Advanced Growing, organics...lots of places. But don't blur medicinal with recreational use...
