Bud dries to fast in desert.

Hello,
I live in a hot arid desert. High temps in summer and warm in winter. Last two crops dried in 3-4 days and after 2 months in jars they do not smell right and is harsh. it is getting smoother but, you know. Also i had to harvest before a full flush because of mites.

I have done a lot of research before asking this.
I live in "the sahara". It is VERY dry and hot here in the "kalahari". When I hang branches they dry in 3 days.
Should I hang the whole plant? will this slow drying?
Then i have just read that i should put the bud into a paper or plastic bag before jarring if i want real quality. No prob except uI don't know what to do about the fast drying.
Should I dry for 2 days and then bag cure or should I dry 2/3 days and go into jars? Or maybe straight into bags. Ventilation is no prob but the dryness just kills it.
I assume from resarch that hanging the whole plant would help. I like to manicure before drying though, at least the large fan leaves.

P.S.
This time i have the pests under control and have learned several tips just from googling stuff. neeming clones, keep it to four tops/ 5 MAXIMUM ( I didn't understand until i did it and my plants exploded). Light distance from canopy was a problem at first but have that figured out. I also have a very consistent feeding schedule that seems to be working well. Finally, I am VERY diligent on not procrastinating when it comes to anything in the garden and i have become VERY diligent about cleaning and sanitizing my space at least once a week. It's definitely worth it as I've had no mites for the plants and no ants for the molasses.

I implore the experienced to help me with this drying/curing issue as I have good seeds from Attitude and know that they have more potential.
Please help

For the desert then, since it dried out too fast. dry the plants for 2 days instead of 3-4 days. and jar it after the 2 days of hang drying. and remember, if its a little to moist for you, then you can always let it dry a little more, but once it is already too dry, the bud just won't be the same.

Edit: I only cut the fan leaves off after the first day of drying then I let the rest dry. I think manicuring the actual buds is much easier when they are a little more dry IMO.

So jar after 2 days drying, no bagging in between? i can abide. Do you agree with hanging the whole plant to slow drying or do you prefer branches?

You can also not water the plants when you want to harvest and leave them in the pots till they dry enough. I have done that and it really slow things down.

Very dry here too. I use brown paper bags to stop the air circulation.
So when you harvest you don't even hang them? You just go straight to the brown bag method?
How do you do that? cut down to branches and place them loosely in the bags or do you cut off the buds? or do you put in the whole plant? In my area it gets too dry in 4 days, how long does your method take before you jar it?

If you can set up a temp controlled area that would be best,I live in the sahara too......btw nice plants

Then try any other slow dry method....like leaving them in the pot like mentioned will work........drying and curing the right way will pay off for all your hard work....I use separate tent for drying.......with an a/c for the hotter months....

If you have any peices of stem/stock left that are from those plants...put a piece in the jar, it will rehydrate the weed an dkeep the smell/taste real

I totally agree 100%. I just haven't caught the trick for this place yet. i have a feeling that I'll get it this time.
If you leave them in the pot will it have a chance of passing peak potency and slip into degradation? If so, when do i stop watering?

You might want to try putting them in paper bags, rolling up the top and then placing them in a closed drawer or a chest of drawers. It takes about 7-10 days.
