You are saying that advertising is what makes kids eat too much, but if you are like me and do not watch TV and do not let your kids watch TV, then they aren't influenced by it. Turn your TV off dude, its pretty much a foregone conclusion that TV influences Americans more than anything else. You understand why they call it a Boob tube right?It isn't TV, it isn't that we excercise less (although that contributes) - it is because WE EAT MORE. And we eat more and more and more. Are we getting hungrier?
I'll say it again, a number of huge, multinational corporations spend billions with one intent - to get us to eat more hamburgers. Their campaign is working.
I have gone to McDonalds, i do stop by there a few times per year when we splurge on in town jaunts, otherwise i cook all the meals here at home, quite a few of those meals are provided for by my garden or an animal I recently shot. Did you know that Pheasant meat has less than 4% fat content? Tastes damned good though.
