Thanks for the quick response, guy! I assume this was in your hydroton/rock wool mix that you like, right? Did you roll with the recommended schedules for each line or dial them back a bit?

Yeah that's the correct medium...I dial them back a bit. I would say anything much over 2.1 or 2.2 EC is asking for trouble. When I use the grow to veg I usually aim for about 1.2 ec even tho they rec 1.8 I feel it's way to high, even for large plants. If you using DWC or RDWC or any system with constant root to solution contact, I would pretty much half eveything on the the schedules. I like to max ec in the waterfarms at about 1.6 is all, they seem to get pist at 1.8 or higher... I also have 0.4EC tap water, so I've included that in those numbers. if your using RO subtract that off each.

...and for anyone out there using canna aqua flores make sure you add cal-mag even with tap water. Seems canna went light on the cal assuming you'll have a ton in your water. I never had this problem with any other line but just a heads up, something that was troubling me!

Whats happenin guys? Round 12 is coming along great! Today makes 21 days 12/12 and my canopy is def looking better then last time. I was already getting some bleaching tho so I had to do some supper cropping to drop a few branches near the hoods. The maui wowie bagseed is looking really nice, it's shocking how similar it looks to the Pineapple Express, but definitely some subtle differences. The VK is performing much better under the 1000w in pots then it did in the waterfarm. Maybe I just burnt her but she seems to like a bit drier feet? The smell is really hard to describe tho, it's almost scentless so I hope some under tones come out or something. Bland strains don't make it in my garden lol

The turbo cloner 24 site came in today so I've been setting that up. So far I'm happy with the build quality but I wish the humidity dome fit the top a little tighter. I might have to add some weatherstripping to make a better seal to keep the humidity up. I plan to use the dome the first 5-7 days or until I see the start of root formation. I will then wean them back to drier air and then remove it completely.

Really excited to see that Cheesequake in action. I've been pondering that one myself. I have some Vanilla Kush and Dutch Treat going in the garden right now. Snagged some Master Kush, Lemon Kush and Freeze Cheese clones, but I'm not sure if I'm sold on any of those strains yet.

Some pics of the blue mistic b4 harvest...she smells so great. Hiiighly recommend this strain...I'll be checking out royal queen seeds in the future, this freebie was awesome! Hoping for 150g under the 250w but that's high hopes. We'll see what she dries down to soon.

Not a fan of the february promo mostly because january's was so awesome.

I'm thinking about putting in an order tonight. Toss up between RP's OG18 like you got or some powerkush from dinafem and take advantage of the dinafem promo too, 15 free seeds sounds good to me and save 20pounds. Good smoke too from what I remember last summer when my buddy grew it.

I like the bit about the canna nutes not having enough cal mag, there was a guy complaining on the forum about that the nutes killing his plants, maybe that was it. Did you have similar issues when you were running ionic? The guy at the hydro store says thats all i need for veg when I came in asking about liquid silicone and liquid karma. He said that stuff helps, but for now I should just stick to that, imagine that a guy turning away business.

I recently added a waterline into the room so res changes will be much easier now. Next is a drain out and room will mostly be complete, just need a filter for intake air.

i have 4 diff phenos. =) theyre F4's too. pineapple pheno... spicy/blockhead pheno.. oderless pheno (aka the Secret Squirrel pheno) and then another pheno... 4get the name tho. lol. i got a pineapple pheno goin now. Mmmmmmm. the smell is AMAZINGGGGGG!! best smelling plant ive grown so far! fast finisher too! shes only at 6 weeks.. adn the bottom buds have amber trichs poppin up everywhere. about 20% id say.

I did not have these issues using Ionic. Esp not the 'grow'. I am however adding cal-mag now at 2.5ml/g with the ionic grow and they seem even happier. I have heard that MJ uses a ton more Mag then most plants and a considerable amount of cal so I feel that it's a good additive to have, but I always use it at a very low dose so it doesn't spike my EC. Sometimes simplicity is the best place to start, there's so many products out there it can make even a seasoned growers head spin.

Yep just a single plant I scrog'd the hell out of. I organized the pics in my 'pic album' so it's kinda a time lapse. I was taking pics every 2 days but fell behind haha Looks pretty cool tho seeing the changes. Yeah I have been wanting to try TGA stuff for a minute now... I popped some Agent Orange for round 13 and I'm about to flower this Timewreck in the same tent as the current Blue Misitic is after I finish chopping her. My new growing goal is to have at least a couple new strains each grow..having these side projects helps tho as I put different varieties in there. Currently have 11 strains going haha trying to get a dispensary style selection for my patients.

Yeah I've always wanted to try sensi star but I felt like it was kinda 'old news' and everyone is always about the new names. I will still add it to the list with the Mr. Nice super silver haze but those will have to wait for another buying spree lol

The autos i never really cared for either but i always wanted to try them once just to say i did it though. Well recently i found the AUTO FLOWERING thread on here and i was checking it out and what i found i was amazed as i guess you can tell by the 10 BHD seeds i got. i ordered a 5x5 complete tent to just to do the autos in. to make a long story short a guy in there had a freebie of the BHD from attitude that had been laying in his fridge for like 5 months and he decided to grow it well to his suprise he got 5 ounces off of it and it was some really really god smoke he said after i seen that i had to try it. Ok enough about autos.

i went and picked up my clones last night. i got 7 L.A. WOMAN and 2 DA PURPS for my next run. and as far as a change in my room a made a major one last night i decided to start using an aeroponics setup instead of my DWC i had been doing for the last 4 years lol so i bought 2 36 site aeroflo 36 and 2 water chillers. drastic change you say yea but its been a long time coming.

Well, the 600 tent has finally been cut down... obviously my temp issues (night was higher then day lol) and nutrient issues (canna w/ no Cal-Mag) made for some sad plants. I did end up getting about 2 oz of the Blackwater and 1.5 oz of the Vanilla Kush. Luckily this was only a side project lol I'm set to pull more off the Blue Mistic 250 tent.

With these problems in mind I've made a few changes. First I ran some ducting on one of the inlets to over near the window where the cooler air is. This has helped shave about 5f off the night temps. Right now it seems to be stable at 75f nights and 80f days which is almost perfect. I wish I could get the nights a bit cooler but no can do with 2kw of heat being blown throw the hood. (the main area vents through this hood)

Second, I am adding cal-mag at 2.5ml/gal and changing the rezs every 3 days. I may have to drop it down to every 2 at some points tho, this beast is already drinking a gallon of water a day. I want to stick to the rule of changing when add back = total rez volume.

Third, I am continuing the veg nute, Ionic grow, at 75% strength for the first 7 days. I will then switch over to the canna lineup with cal-mag.


Here is the new blue mistic clone. She was vegged 7 weeks in a 2gal smart pot. I then slit the bottom, stuck her in a waterfarm and put her in 12/12. This is about 2 days in.
