thanks man. water cooling on a large scale is very cool once you wrap your head around the technology. little adjustment period but once you get it you really never go back. it's just so efficient. especially for guys running closed environments. plus when you factor in the savings from ducting, a/c units, exhaust fans, and all that it's really not that bad.nice set-up. i'd like to go water-cooled soon.
i hope you get your lab soon buddy.i love "wrapping my head around things." well put. i keep bricks in my box to buffer temp and RH between the cycles. i love passive systems, partly out of necessity. i am green with envy over your grow area. one day............no more Scrog Cave...........the Scrog Lab *sigh*
do u mean regular red bricksi love "wrapping my head around things." well put. i keep bricks in my box to buffer temp and RH between the cycles. i love passive systems, partly out of necessity. i am green with envy over your grow area. one day............no more Scrog Cave...........the Scrog Lab *sigh*
looks great brohey guys. back with an update. so when i went in the tent today and checked on everything i noticed the rockwool cubes were super dry on my clones. even though i did a light foliar spray yesterday i decided to water them today. gave them r/o water with a ph of 5.9 and some clonex added. ppm was 175. i sprayed the rockwool cubes and also the leaves of everything. also noticed that i got my first root popping out of the rockwool. funny thing is it is from one of the smallest clones. lol

i noticed this white "mold" growing on on one of the cubes. it was the only one that had it but i think i noticed it on the tray a little bit. not sure what's going on but i'm heading back in there in a little to change the tray and bleach that one. weird white stuff keeps following me everywhere. hmmm!

took a few pics of my moms. they seem to be doing well since i cloned them. really nice growth coming off the 2 big power plant ones. even the stunted cheese plants are starting to pick it up a little. if i can get them to keep this up i may not flower them and just keep them. i am determined to get them back in shape. haha. since i'm going back in a i am going to check on the white "fingi" that is growing on the bottoms of the pots. if it's still bad them i am going to try a little watered down bleach on them. hope i don't wipe them out.

wouldnt hydrogen perxoide be better ?haha, sounds logical FAB. thanks. sprayed the bottoms with a diluted bleach to see if i can get rid of that white fungi. switched out trays and cleaned the other one.
i tried that bout a week ago. they drank it up like it was koolaid with extra sugar. actually got worse afterward. if the bleach doesn't work i'm calling the CDC and telling them i may have invented a new super fungi. LOLwouldnt hydrogen perxoide be better ?
very first time i've ever grown on my own. i have buddies that do and i've helped them before and seen their setups. i just studied and researched for like 6 months before i even dexided to do it. the internet pretty much has everything you need. anything else you get from hands on experience. i suck with genetics and the whole npk ratios and micronutes but i'm sure to learn that over the course of a few grows. This is your FIRST GROW? Jesus, man! I'd say you did your research..

just goes to show that research pays off bigtimeThis is your FIRST GROW? Jesus, man! I'd say you did your research..
that smart man most newbies stick some seeds in dirt and when the break the surface they join here and post seedling sprouted now wtf i do lolvery first time i've ever grown on my own. i have buddies that do and i've helped them before and seen their setups. i just studied and researched for like 6 months before i even dexided to do it. the internet pretty much has everything you need. anything else you get from hands on experience. i suck with genetics and the whole npk ratios and micronutes but i'm sure to learn that over the course of a few grows.
FAB's super fungi!!
you see a lot of newbs doing that on the forums. asking what their yield will be or how many plants can i fit under this light without giving any info. guys waste so much on seeds to just kill them right away. growing is expensive for the most part. why would you waste your money if you don't know what you are doing. seems stupid to me. or you don't know what you are doing and 2 weeks from harvest down goes your whole crop.
thats the only way to survive on riu make friendsthat's a good point. just use bagseed. i didn't post shit for months. i wasn't even a member. i just read stuff and watched. i opened a fake account so i could see the pictures. i didn't even have 1 post on here for like 6 months. then i started this account so that i could put up my journal. i don't even know the password to my old account anymore. doesn't matter. no +rep or posts. lol. no way could i have done it without phil. he walked me through everything and helped me setup most of the stuff when he was visiting. we basically set up my veg tent, chiller and all that in an afternoon and he explained the whole technology to me. he walked me through all the steps of getting stuff started and everything. he even put together a list for me based on my budget and then got everything from his distributor super cheap for me. like 20% less than anywhere else online. that was a huge help. that and reading like everything i could find on the net and watching youtube videos.
