hey broSup fellas looks like the grow is going well lol
u mean dsb got in his clones ? huhThanks fab i hve been pondering that whit substance! And at a glance it looks like a spider hole lol
But on a solid note! Im thinking it is fungus and from the way the girls look, i wouldnt put to much
Thought into it!
thats how i killed half my one time hydro experiment tried to kill fungus gnats and killed half my 16 plants didnt do shit to them fucking gnatsJust be carefull how much you apply! Bleach can do some damage
we already named it fabs fantastic fungus i think wasnt that what we decided on nugs ?Hey nuglets you might want to swing by heisenbergs thread in the hydro dwc section! He might know a bit more about this
Fungus you got going! I have see this but never seen it drink h202 and then say is that all you got lol
he is good people helped me alot too and not with just growingi already though were were friends but i sent him a request just now. he's been helping from the beginning. i got all the ideas about leaning the buckets and the inserts and taping up the lines from his thread. at "the newb grow journal" he's an OG!
good one broLOL. yep, fabs got naming rights on the fungus. he mentioned that it look familiar to something he had growing on his ball sack so i gave him first crack at naming it.
thanks for the type hellraizer. gonna go and check that out now. i posted it before the hack in plant problems but everyone said it was mold. but mold smells and this doesn't. all i can think is that scrogladyte might be right cause i did mix some organic compost in with the soil. who knows. gonna go an see how the girls are doing here in a little and check on the bottom of those pots.
Water cooling is actually 40% more efficient then air cooling. The larger the grow op you have the smaller the actual difference is in price between the two. As far as risk goes, since water cooling allows you to have a Closed Grow Environment you really actually lower the risk. In nuglets case his chiller costs about twice as much as the equivelent in a/c would have cost him. He's actually using less inline fans, ducting; etc... And he's able to cool his reservoir as well from the system. I wouldn't be surprised id he saved that difference in price over a/c in 4 months.but looking back on your setup and seeing all that water cooling with iceboxes it just seems like there is way more effecient and also less risky ways to accomplish the same goals
