because like old mcronald and his merry cult like to say, taxation is theft. those veterans who fought to give you the freedom you disparage and take for granted are stealing from you! theft! thieves!

whereas i see it the other way. people screaming that taxation is theft are the ungrateful mooches.
People screaming for unjust benefits, via the means of taxation are ungrateful mooches. Point?

Your logic is a never ending pit of fallacies, ignorance, and hypocrisy. You're like a science project all on your own. Donate yourself to science please, and we can figure out a new species of retard. You'll benefit the masses, so just bow down and submit, oh generous one.

Religious puns are fun, eh? :bigjoint:

But I was pointing out how many businesses are run that just barely cover overhead but continue running that business as long as they keep covering overhead.
You have no idea how business works. Non-profits are never really non profit... even the "good" ones. They stash profits away through accounting misrepresentations, so when that rainy day hits, they can survive. This is typically to the benefit of the members, of the non-profits, as they collect salaries, some of which are a pretty penny.

There are non-profits who receive "aid" via taxes. That's an even more unjust way of operating a "non-profit", than what's stated above.

Business is a market, and non-profits are a business whether you acknowledge it or not. In markets, there are ups and downs, and if you think any market stays flat, well you're living in a different reality.... that's not how the markets operate on planet Earth. Doesn't take much intelligence to understand that either. A non-profit will never survive if it's breaking even every month... thus they hide profits. Accept or deny it, that's the reality.

Being that a business is one in the same, no they won't survive either if they break even with overhead continuously. Also, for one to think, that it's an ok way to maintain a business, operating that way, is ignorant and they will eventually fail as a result of operating with such ignorance.

Who ever said the market system is the best? It used to be before the industrial revolution, and is especially unfair since technology took over.

If the market system is what we only have, I will advocate a total free market without government monopolies or socialist syndicates.

Even so, it doesn't mean we need to keep the market. We should strive as hard as we can to eliminate the market and governments who control it.

Hahah wtf? then it wouldn't be organic it would be toxic waste.
You're right, organic IS toxic waste.

http://www.organicconsumers.org/Toxic/flouride.cfm

You were saying?

When it comes to organic farming, you have no damn clue what's in it. The chemicals are mined and used without any idea what pollutants are in them.

Here's another good read.

http://www.organicconsumers.org/organic/phosphate.cfm

In short, "natural" doesn't always mean good for you. Oleander is natural, let's see you eat that!

Im more than sure if a livestock animal eats a fully organic diet and it takes a shit you wouldn't want to eat it just because its fully organic.
what the hell is your point? and of course there is a fine line between organic and natural. Though definitely not the same.
You start spattin shit about natural, and here i am thinking you were trying to talk organics... wtf? i miss something?

I am talking organic growing. For example:

Mined Sul-Po-Mag can contain unhealthy levels of sodium fluoride up to 5%. Man-made Sul-Po-Mag has no such problems.

Mined rock phosphate can have dangerous levels of uranium or radium radiation. The type found in rock phosphate has enough radiation to last thousands of years and until your farm land is left alone, it will then still take decades for your soil to be safe again. Super phosphate has no such problems.

My mentioning of natural is to mock all the organic zealouts who think natural equates to safe.

What's hilarious is organic farming methods use materials that harm the environment just as bad or worse as synthetics. Sodium flouride can get in water runoff the same as other synthetic contaminants.

It depends on how you grow, not if you're synthetic or organic. Both methods have the possibility to make equally safe and nutritious food or bud.

I was poking fun of the fact if Buck is using organic bud, he could be getting high on flouride. No one adds flouride to synthetically grown bud. But plenty of uninformed organic morons can unknowingly have toxic levels of flouride in their soil which will make their way into the bud.

Got it?

instead, ronbots like to scream "theft" when the bill comes due for the freedoms they take for granted.
So... our freedoms are bought and paid for by taxes? Then half of the country has no freedom and the rich have more freedoms because they pay more tax? And what exactly do I get for my taxes?

Sir, I know a lot about Business. Got me one of them fancy degrees all about business and I certainly wasn't pointing out the fact non profits are run not for profit. There are plenty of businesses just on this city block I imagine with the number changing daily that are happy happy clams to be covering their overhead in this economy especially.

Most of what you write is hogwash, and meant for a different sort of thread.

I am finding the bickering on here very interesting, too interesting as I've realised I still have not learned a damn thing about Congress moving to stop the funding of the DEA... is there really some merit this time? Or is it more show? I mean, defunding the thugs seems too logical and simple and as if it could actually do something of benefit for those who elect these dumbass Congress assholes in to do things of benefit for them.

Yea i got it now.but dont these "organic" companies test their stuff before selling it though? testing for heavy metals or all contaminants or impurities?

Business degrees are the most ironic fallacies, to have ever been offered by an educational institution, ever. No one can efficiently teach "business" in a classroom. No amount of business degree, will ever adequately qualify, or ensure that someone runs a business successfully. Some of the smartest, and most successful business people in the world, tend to lack an "education" that taught them how to do so.

Not sure how saying that, a business who just barely covers overhead for an extended period of time, will eventually fail without adequate profits, is hogwash. What was hogwash about anything I said, if most of what I write is hogwash?

If you're asking me how I define socialism, so that it can be compared to the dictionary's definition... what bearing does that have on anything? Socialism is a complex ideology that equates to a blatantly simple fallacy. Socialism's definition should be changed to "A fallacy", because that's all it is. Those who don't understand that, simply have a fallacy with their brain.

And yes, de-funding the DEA thugs, is a logical idea and should be simple. De-funding the congress thugs, is also logical. I wish just not that we could de-fund them both, but rather that we could just execute the treasonous ones.

Hmmmm... I can see where some might lend that opinion but it's not a fair assumption. I didn't start out running businesses, I started as a cashier at Micky D's making $4.25 and I used the theories from the classroom and integrated them with my hands on experience to great success when I worked on up to Decision Maker. I learned simple theories like Happy Workers make Productive workers and a good Manager is like a good Coach who seeks out the teams individual strenghts and weaknesses then blends them back together to make it run smoothly. I learned the pyschology of motivating staff members. I also learned about Overhead, what Non Profits are, Law and other needless odds and ends? I find if funny that these theories are so foriegn to those in the Business Real World that I have to prove them to use them which is why I can say I know my theories work, I've had to prove them to those too arrogant to get business training before joining the Business Real World.

Every one I know is living Day to Day. So are most businesses. They will stay in business for years in a bad economy working tirelessly just to stay out of the red and won't quit until they can't dig out of it. A lot of them.

What you said about Non Profits is Hogwash. CNN just aired a story on some Disabled Vets one getting in 56 Mil and spending none but it is on CNN because it is News, not an every day occurance.

Ask the residents of Norway, Sweden, Holland, New Zealand, Canada etc how much of a fallacy Socialism is.

No they don't. Imagine how much organic would be if they did.

Farmers have a hard enough time getting "organic" fertilizer, let alone testing it.

" fertilizer companies fall outside of the USDA’s National Organic Program, so they aren’t required to be inspected by third parties and certified in the same way that farmers or food processors are. "

http://grist.org/organic-food/2011-05-18-california-how-a-fake-organic-fertilizer-bamboozled-farmers/full/

Funny huh?
