I'll tell in a few days when it's dried. I'm guessing 40 to 70 grams off this one plant. I've got another 8-Ball that's about a week away from harvest, grown single cola style in a one gallon container -- I'm guessing I'll get about a half oz or so off that one.

Is the 8 ball kush a heavy feeder ??? Should I go lighter nutes or heavier?? Im in the first week of veg in my hydro (superlocker 2.0) and am giving 1/3 nutes.

it's the first time I've grown it, so not enough with the strain yet to tell.

At this point, I'm really doubting that it's 8-Ball, unless I somehow got a strange sativa pheno. It has a lovely smell and taste of cantelope. Maybe it's cantelope Haze or something. I was just thinking SLH because I also had a single bean of it in my attitude order.

Alright so i havent done an update in a little while for you guys! whats going on! i see everyone's 8ball is going nicely...... but yo Diaz, its looking like one of my 8ball's is more of a sativa pheno aswell? just the one but, or it could just be this plant cause it is growing strange, but all 3 of the other 8ball plants have fat short leaves, def a indica dominant. For whatever reason plant #2 maybe is a different pheno yet again from the others aswell? it is starting to smell largely of skunk and the others dont smell at all :S this 8ball grow is confusing the fuck outta me ahahaa. But other then that, they are all growing finally well, number 4 is a little behind still, im not sure why its still small compared to the rest? anyone got any suggestions on what the problem is? or anything i can do to help get it bigger with the others. here are some pics for ya guys. who knows, the way i look at it is like this. if its a hybrid, even if its like 75% kush then 25% sativa whatever, theres still a chance of it taking alot of sativa characteristics especially on the newer lines i feel like that havnt been inbred for decades and decades. where as like if you buy NL from Sensi or somthn ull get like all really uniform plants cuz its been inbred for so many years.

Makes alot of sense, But the only thing I question is the handling of the seeds. Because you can take 100 seeds from 10 plants and they'll all look the same!

yah its hard 2 say untill they get like 3-4 sets of leaves. i have this cross i made of Chemdog x Pineapple Chunk and its leaves are litarlly almost round their so indica looking especially when their small i wish i had a picture but its a pain in the arse for me 2 take and upload jus 1 picture. whats crazy tho is all these crazy ass super strains thats are covered in trichs, i still dont get stoned as i used 2 back in the day off BC commercial shit i swear, somtimes i wonder whether theres some chemical in natural outdoor weed that you just cant replicate indoors period. not saying that you cant still pull dank indoors cuz i know i do haha, but its just different...

Oh sure, I know that, but if you look at the description on Barney's site, it says Indica with no mention of Sativa genetics at all.

Either way, I don't plan to grow this much, since I have better strains that finish 2nd weeks sooner.

yah exactly, thats how i look at it usually unless the strain is an utter un-smokeable mess than it may just not be my style and i try somthing else, somtimes its my fault a plant doesnt come out like i wanted bcuz i didnt give it the right nutrient profile it likes, after awhile i got an idea of which traits and strains i like cuz when i was growing up smokin budd, it didnt have names, they told you where it came from somtimes but thats about it, and im not that old, im not talkn about columbian n that super old guy shit, im talking about, BC budd, Afghan, who in the D remembers the "GHAN" years? hahaha everything that wasnt regs was GHAN. the only up side was we used 2 get BC budd for reggie all day. Here are my pics of my 8 ball kush fem. It is 3.25 inches tall. Started them in paper towel method 24 days ago. It is now in its 3rd day of veg 18/6.

they are 44 days from seed now meast 21, i had about a week and a half of stunted growth so they are behind, flourishing now though just gunna have to veg a little longer then though, what can you do right, and your 8 balls are looking real good man! better then mine at 24 days thats forsure, so keep it up i have a feeling 8 ball is a short plant so!

PJ Diaz what does the Critical Mass 33 look like? i got that freebie also, i planted the regular "jack" that is the base for it from CH9 but im waiting ive wanted 2 do a Critical cross for a long time and a good Jack would be nice crossed with it?

The Critical Mass 33 is a heavy hitter. It's indica dom, and not a lot of Jack Herer traits that I see. I also grow J1, which is a Jack Herer x Haze cut only version. The CM 33 doesn't have the same distinct "Jack" smell that I'm used to. It is quite nice however, lots of trichomes, good smell, dense. The shit really knocks me out though. I can't really smoke much of it past 10pm or I'm out quick. I found myself falling asleep with the bong in my hand multiple times. Here's a couple pics of it at 50 days 12/12, I harvested at 56 days:

Yup it's nice and frosty with a nice taste and smell. The aroma isn't over the top, and I have much tastier strains, but it's pretty good tasting overall. You don't really need to veg too long. The strain is vigorous with a fast metabolism = shit grows fast. Clones super easy too. The buds haven't been as big as I imagined, but not tiny either. Nice and dense. Hopefully buds will get bigger as I get the strain more dialed in. For now it's gonna be a keeper indica, unless the master kush turns out to be better. Won't know about that for a couple more months though.
