Obama shows his ignorance by saying it, and then his insensitivity by by expressing mere regret that he misspoke. Now Poland demands a formal apology and the whole thing is front page. This was just poor judgement compounded by arrogance and more poor judgement. This is what bothers me as much as anything about Obama. He would be completely useless in a crisis. He is at his best when he is doing nothing at all. For example, all he did was stay out of the way on the bin Laden kill, and that was "his" greatest accomplishment (LOL).

It wasn't even technically Poland, it was more just "Nazi Occupied Europe" from France to the western border of Russia.

None of you have the slightest idea about Poland and the Holocaust,My partner is Polish and I have been to Poland many times and visited both Auschwitz and Treblinka myself.

If you ignorant people knew anything you would understand that more than 70% of the concentration camp victims weren't Jewish but actually native Poles,POW's and gypsy's from surrounding country's,Jews actually made up a small percentage of the millions massacred.

The statistical figures (as far as can be known) are carved into a marble plaque set into a wall within the prison block at Auschwitz,it's in the same room as a 5 ton pile of human hair and hundreds of empty Zyklon B canisters.
