You not supposed to jog on concrete man its real bad for your joints go to a track or ride a bike.. Many people dont know it is like suicide for you joints
i dont have a bike, but the track sounds like a good idea cause i gotta shitty knee already and i dont want that givin out thats for damn sure. i havent ran at all this week due to rain an injury. runnins never been my thing so im still gettin use to it too an man it sucks lol.

james i feel ya too dude im the same way skinny an no matter how much i eat i wont gain weight unless im trainin. start liftin mayne an you gonna see your size increase. protein isnt gonna get you large tho you need to start takin in way more complex carbs an that two will help you put that weight on.

i'm telling you dude i put in a good 5000 cals a day, lot's of good carbs, lean protein.. i curl 35 pounds (it's all that will fit) bench around 180-190 and i only weigh like 140 pounds..

i mean i get strong as hell, i just don't put on muscle lol.

you must have a freak ass metabolism then im bout the same weight you are give or take 5-10 pounds an i use to be the same way real strong, but stayed skinny. what are some of the exercises you doin an how long have you been doin em?

yea i been tryin to stay off it. fuckin somethin bad happens everytime i do squats im tellin ya! for you tho do you take any fish oils? those help with your joints a lot. the bee was just tryin to motivate you to kick it up thats all! lol
I don't take anything, man. I really think I should though, I'm just about positive I'm not getting all the nutrients my body requires. I've heard a lot of people support fish oil, and I've heard Joe Rogan talk about it a bit, he takes a lot of stuff that says benefits his body. Him and Eddie Bravo broke down the idea of nootropics on one of the podcasts I was listening to a week ago.

Yeah I think you're right, I'm going to walk up to the track today, it's made of astroturf, awesome stuff, really springy, and see if that has any effect on the knee.


i wish i could get ripped, i just don't have that kind of body though.. i'm pretty much a twig and i eat a shitload of protein.

but i can still bust out like 30-45 pull ups/chin ups and do like 50-75 push ups with ease... i think i'll forever be skinny though.

simple shit, pull ups, chin ups, weighted push ups, weighted sit ups, dips, knee raises, bench presses, leg curls (i think that's what they're called), squats.

about 3x a week and since around fall of 2011, septemberish.

that could be your prob right there your body is use to all those motions so its at a plateau. start doin shit like burpees, jumpin squats, whatever you can do to confuse yourself

theres a list of new things you can do mostly bodyweight and it seems you have a bar so you can do the rest too. i had that issue before and when i changed the workout and intensity of it the weight started comin.


pad i know i watched his podcasts a lot up until just recently an i really wanna try some of that alpha brain. fish oils will help you a lot with joints it just makes your burps taste like fish lol. besides fish oils i just take a multi.

I feel ya on how hard it is to gain muscle mass.. I've been 6'2" 170lbs for years and it sucks lol. Up until recently i haven't been able to grow at all but all the hard work is starting to pay off. Try getting about 300g of complex carbs and 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight/day. The hardest part to gaining good weight is paying for the food lol

well worked out today and my back felt pretty decent i hope with more ice an more back massager itll be normal by tomorrow. i did me a lil legs/back/shoulder/traps/ab day. its soo much cause my workout partner and i only had 3 days to train this week.

started off with two sets of db stair lunges 12 lunges a go and with each set we added another time goin u
p so second set went up and down twice etc. then after two of those we went to high pulley rows for 4 sets an then finished the other two sets of the lunges.
one set of leg raises 15 re
ps followed by 4 sets of barbell shoulder presses.
4 sets of barbell shrugs then another set of abs.
4 sets of front shoulder raises
4 sets of back to back leg extensions/leg curls
abs
one set burnout of shoulder side raises
burnout db
presses with 30lb,25lb,20lb,15lb
4 sets of upright rows

aaaaaaaaaaaand one more set of leg raises and that workout was a wra
p and man was it a good one. i lowered all my weights just cause of the hurt back dont wanna further injure it, but i still made it a hard ass workout. im thinkin tomorrow i was gonna rest, but i might do some upper/inner chest cause that is a area i am lackin in a great deal. i know i need to fill in some time cause i wanna burn more fat that i am now and im eatin as clean as i can be an drinkin lots of water an only water.

Mine for earlier today, not too bad. I decided to run on the track, it actually turned out CLEARLY less resistant than running on the straight concrete. I had very little pain in my left knee!

Did 7 up downs on a 24 staircase bleacher at the track after a mile run, 1/4 + barely 25 yards of which I could run straight, without stopping, pathetic! Last summer the idea was to increase endurance and stamina, I did that by increasing the amount of which I would run each day, even if by barely any. It worked great, and I was able to run 2 miles by the end of fall, after about 12 weeks of consistent exercise. That's the goal, right now I can barely run 1/4 of a mile, by July 15 I want to be able to do a mile, hopefully more if possible, but at least a mile. Lets do it!

hell ive been havin a hard time keepin up with it too! its just hectic cause of this week, but next week my workouts will be more spread out. right now id say im around 145 approachin 150 at 5'11 very skinny but im tryin to change that. i wanna be all around fit strength and endurance wise. for me its all function i wanna be strong, fast, have a tank of energy mainly just incase i have a physical altercation with someone/anyone. plus bein called skinny all my life makes me wanna change that too. lol i hope by a few months ill be up to your caliber of runnin to raise my endurance drastically, but im also gonna do a lot of punchin bag/mma type exercises for endurance.

id say for that knee get you one of them ace su
pports for it and get on them omega 3,6,an 9 for your joints an heart and get you a good quality multivitamin an thats all you really need anythin else is just gonna be extra.

4 days to do 13.75 miles, if I skip a day to rest that means I'd have to do at least 4.5 miles the remaining 3 days, don't skip a day, 3.5 miles...

i know i got two workouts ahead of me today i just havent fully thought them out yet. i never have a set workout to do cause i feel if i just do what i feel like i wanna ill train harder. ive been trainin the fuck outa my legs. i want me some tree trunks!

just got done with a intense one. i realize i been explainin my workouts half assed so nothin but details from now on

i had a goal to get in 6 sets of incline flyes and 300
punches with this mma resistant band gloves i got from walmart in under 5 songs. goal accomplished an man im worn out! i couldnt finish the punches with the bands, but i did my 300 i basically knocked 3 sets of incline flyes out then went to 100 punches then a set of incline flyes and i did that 3 times. drinkin my recovery shake now an ima do a few sets of just straight incline presses if i can lol.
