The Getting Back/In Shape Thread

I do a lot of baked exerciseing. Biking is good stoned..even weight lifting. Helps focus and makes it suck less. I'm down 25lbs since Christmas
 
My gyms been closed for the last 2 days due to new equipment being installed, don't know what to do with my mornings now

buy a pull up bar and some dumb bells. i dont go to the gym and do everything at home. gym pass is just another expense to me and i find that i'm doing ok with out one. plus its just a meat market, i think i would lose focus watching chicks lol.
 
shit chicks at the gym made me work harder tryin to show out lol. i agree tho its a waste of money unless you like that kinda environment.
 
i cant stand going to the gym and having to wait n equipment.

workout went well today.

started off with a pre workout warmup of 4 sets of max rep bench at 135

4 sets of shoulder
press
4 sets of front shoulder raises with machine
4 sets of u
pright rows

an i did some oblique work. short workout but intense. ima have a nice lil workout tomorrow i ho
pe im not too sore in my shoulders cause i got handstand pushups to do!
 
did 63 miles on the bike this morning. finished before noon and the sun really started pounding. Took a beautiful nap puffed a little I may go lift in a little while. I love Saturdays
 
Save that for the weekend. Saturday 10.30am and a hotdog and 2 cakes done already. I love cheat days

stop cheating and watch the weight fly off. stay away from carbs people. eat healthy fats(almonds/pistachio/walnuts/etc), proteins and if you need something sweet eat fruit. once you start eating healthy fats your body will use that as an energy source. remember carbs turn into sugars and get stored, shit is bad for you. chips are the devil.
 
walnuts are king. get used to eating them for sure.
i couldnt agree with panda more.
i do have a cheat day myself though but i find after a few weeks of the diet u stop craving the nasty stuff all together and your cheat days become less rewarding. in fact you get to the point where you instantly feel shit after eating something that doesnt fit in the diet
 
1. Stop spending your money on food. "Foodie" is not a real thing, get a real addiction. Start buying cigarettes, and you won't have as much money on hand to spend on food. And cigs are a known appetite suppressant.

2. Stop driving everywhere. When all you have to carry is a backpack or a purse, and you're going less than a half mile, WALK.

3. Walk anyways. Start smoking weed/more weed, and to meet local stoners, go for walks and ask everyone who passes if they smoke weed :D

4. When you want to eat sugary things, just drink liquor. It's made from sugar, and will make you throw up if you drink enough, so you don't have to keep any of the calories.

5. Start taking hallucinogens. You'll be a lot more active, and even sitting still you can put on a sweat sometimes.

6. Do some yoga. Stretching makes you higher anyways, because it gets your blood flowing.

7. (if you REALLY want to lose weight) Buy food that you don't like.

8. Move to Colorado, and ask someone what they do for fun. Yeah, ANYONE. They climb mountains and shit, they'll lose you some weight.

9. Get a labor intensive job. It's more convenient than weight lifting. And motivation for completing your reps is... Keeping your job.

10. Start being like a gorilla. Climb trees, and run on all 4's in your spare time. If humans still lived in the jungle, we would all be SWOLL UP.
