Poor people have always had the hardest lives. We middle class, (I'm definentely on the low end of Middle class) Are really living high on the hog compared to 90% of the rest of the world. I have it made. A nice home, swimming pool, air conditioning, a 65" TV, a nice truck and a nice little car for my wife, no credit cards or debts other than utilities, money in the bank, not much, but enough for small emergencies, a decent health care, (medicare and teamsters medical), retired and living the dream. Yet I support all measures that would allow everyone to live at least as well as I, and I wish everyone would be like minded. Life is way too short to be mean spirited. Wish and strive for wealth for all, health for all, erase poverty world wide. Could be done, it is possible, just needs the will of the people.

Mean spirited? Meaning anybody that doesn't agree with YOUR vision of paradise? Why are YOU so mean? Why do you want people to live ONLY as good as you? Why not better?
Would you support those measures if it meant giving up all of your property, private and personal?

When I was a teen we all wanted to get jobs and some of us to have their own bussiness. But not just any job, a real good one that started at around $10 per hour. Start at the $10.00 and before long we would be at $14-$15 an hour , with benefits , like insurance and maybe a paid vacation. 30 plus years ago.The places we worked at are mostly gone now, closed up. Some moved away to foriegn countries but now there all these empty run down condemned buildings or vacant lots where good jobs used to be. A lot of the young healthy people are collecting dissability and seem to have no desire to work for the $8.50 an hour they can earn today. Which can not really sustain a lifestyle of anyting but poverty. Its now the working poor these days - not the middle class anymore.

Attack the messenger seems to be your mantra. I am so disgusted with this philosophy of hate of anything liberal. I actually don't care if someone has more than me, but there ought to be a limit. Hoarding millions and billions while people are living in poverty just seems wrong. A millionaire/billionaire could give up all but a few million and still live the life. How much does one actually need to live a fulfilling life. I have no desire to be wealthy, there is way too much responsibility that goes with that. The "would you be willing to give up what you have to fulfill that scenario" is always what the right has to say. I have laid my lifestyle bare. You can attack if you must, but remember I already said that I live better than 90% of the worlds population, and everyone has at least the right to live as well as I, Meaning even better if possible. If the money were re-distributed and the people re-educated, it could be possible. Yes it is not possible at this juncture in time. I realize that. But Maybe some day greed will take a holiday. It is people that have vision that make change possible, don't be blinded by negativism. I suppose if you are a Millionaire/billionaire, this would rub you the wrong way, but then really, why would you be wasting away on a Marijuana site, instead of enjoying the fruits of your wealth on some luxurious vacation/lifestyle?
