I have actually never done much research on this particular 'idea'After all of that writing...you have not said anything scientific at all relating to HOW THC binds and what would cause differing effects. Thank you for your expose on nomenclature...I found that mildly amusing. Perhaps you could point your extreme competence at the issue of how different strains bind on different receptors??? You talk about how different strains have different effects...well can you prove how that happens being that there is only one formula for THC and it only binds to 2 recognized receptors???
Just like in nicotine ...whether you get it from a patch, cigarette, cigar, or pipe...it STILL binds to the same receptors.
It would also stand to reason that once those CB1 and CB2 receptors are saturated...you can get no higher.
However if you do something as simple as trying GHaze, and then hash plant you will see an incredibly obvious difference.
Also, different strains have different amounts of cannabanoids, so they are going to affect you differently (THC is just one of many cannabanoids found in cannabis)
Interestingly enough our own bodies have cannabanoid receptors (duh) but there sole purpose is to receive only these cannabanoids.
Also, you can not just judge bud on THC % as there are many more cannabanoids that will affect the intensity/affects of the smoke.
As far as the indica/sativa I was just referring to the facts. As I believe I stated.
