My ownership of firearms IS part of my freedom. Take my guns, take not only part of my freedom but also my means of defending against the theft of my remaining freedoms that you choose to let me keep. For now.

You know what gets me? First of all people think conservatives hate pot heads.. Watch the 5 on FOX.. Then only one who's against it is Bob Beckel.. The Lib.. But anywho.. People seem to forget that the 2nd amendment wasn't put into to place so hunter Joe could go out and shoot a couple of ducks leaving Huey, Lewy and Duey without an aunt and uncle.. It was put into place to guard against a tyrannical government. In other words.. To shoot politicians..

there are so many ways to defend yourself and your property without guns that it is a joke.

guns are for going on the offensive.

but seriously, a kevlar vest is defensive. firing a deadly projectile is going on the offense.

i agree that the vest is defensive and a good idea for some folks. i also say that firing a deadly projectile, while often done offensively, can be done in defense as well. The term "cover fire" as well as the term "defensive marksmanship", or some version thereof, IS defensive. Once a serious physical threat is initiated upon someone, an action of lesser, equal, or even one step above the level presented (as LEO is trained) is considered a defensive action. It would become offensive if you hit the aggressor, he dropped his gun and ran, and you shot him in the back. THAT is when people get in trouble. You can't shoot someone because you're pissed off. You MUST be defending a life and/or safety.

so many ways to defend yourself w/o guns? not legally . we'll be seeing the news story about the cops coming to 'investigate' the scene after you been fucked up. you obviously never been in a life or death situation. just wait until it happens to you(hopefully never does) it will change your point of view.

so motion sensor alarms, invisible laser alarms, chain link fences, electric fences, trip wire, closed circuit alarms, and the like won't keep intruders at bay?

Whew! That was awesome. :hump:

As for your question, they may or may not. The motion sensor lets you know they are there, chain link is defeated with snips/cutters, electric fences only work with electricity (that can go down several ways but keep in mind the rule of electrical ground), trip wire of what? a party popper? Lol, might as well use a gun if using EFFECTIVE "trip wires", CC alarms? or CCTV? either way, you'll know they're coming and have video for posterity.

Will you post it on Youtube?

Now it's time for some "Fruit Spins", aka, generic Fruit Loops:-P
