I think my results before with a diy bubbler were about the same as my current method... a few rooted clones but mostly failures.

blame it on the moon cycles.......:)
Dang! What is going on?! Why are we having so many issues/failures?
and sympathies, I am going through a complete spanner stage of not getting my clones rooted as well, grrrr.

sorry for you guys! My cloning success has gone up to 100%, but now my seed germination sucks:(

I use rapid rooters and cloning gel under a dome, always have. I think temps play a big part as well as humidity. I'm not sure if the amount of lighting matters, if anything too much is bad. When i had my 400 in veg my clones had a hard time and im sure temps played a part too. I germ my seeds in a different way about every time. time before last i weint in rapid rooters, and it worked 4/6. I have some now in a plastiv bag with paper towel and it's been 3 days no sprout. I like going straight into dirt best, but i use recycled soil and my mixture is way too aerated to stay moist long enough unless i'm constantly in there misting them. probably gonna buy a bag of dirt just for seedlings.

Well no sooner do I say it than go check (expecting not to find any) and find one rooted clone... hooah! So will transplant it later today... gotta check and see if that's one of the females too -- hope I didn't just successfully clone a boy but all my girl cuts failed. That would be a bummer.

That would suck!! I figure I've got about five to six more days to go before I may see any roots...
Kinda feels like a complete stand still, especially since I'm tokin resin! That's how it goes..
One day, I'll get this shit perpetual--or start growing monsters!

That's funny I got my germ up to 100% (or pretty close) :) I actually have been using rapid rooters and cloning gel in a dome :) the first round this grow i'm sure was due to not enough humidity (dome did not get a solid seal). I think second round this grow got TOO MUCH humidity (got up to 100% and the stems rotted)... this last batch was i think 8 cuts and i was able to keep the humidity 93-97% and one has rooted. My temps are pretty low though (65-75) and they might be getting too much light... i also have not been misting or remoistening them (since they're in 95% humidity)... oh also i left a small layer of water in the tray that's right below the rooters to keep humidity up and it's also providing a bit of moisture to the rooters seated deeply... i think i'd benefit from a heating mat or somewhere the temperature stays upper 70s - 80 and CFLs instead of under the LEDs :) I may do the next batch in my seedling cab after i move it back in my room I'm guessing I'll get better results... also first couple of rounds I used small cuts (2-3") and this last round that I actually got roots on I used bigger cuts/stems (4" or so, thicker stems, etc) - we'll see maybe i'll get some more roots on the other rooters still

Just to clarify, I don't use the rooters for germ :) I drop'em in water for 1-2 days someplace dark and warm then plant'em and keep a humidity dome over the pot and under light until the sprout spreads its leaves and turns green.

The seeds I put into the rapid rooters have roots, but haven't popped out yet(I cut a bit of the rooters and plugged the hole at beginning)

Need to get things in order for flowering soon, the seeds are going 12/12 immediately, and the clones will get put in either as soon as I see roots, or maybe after a week of veg. If all goes well, I'll need to get more rooters soon!

are you keeping the cuts under a separate light? pretty sure under 12/12 would make'm take a lot longer to root since they'd want to start flowering.

Hey voidling. What kind of rooting hormone do you use? (goes for anyone else as well!)
i know it's a powder, by the stems of these mommas.. But which?

I forget, would have to look.

So I was at books a million and there was a whole shelf full of marijuana grow books under gardening. This was in Waco Texas. I took a pic out of disbelief

So where is every one?
