to a cfl grower it seems like your ready to grow a nice little forest of some sort....i bet your girls are saying "man...your like the best mom to us"

Not sure yet, I am currently growing some bag seed just to test out my system so I don't waste money on good seeds then kill them.. But I was thinking white widow, AK-47, Big Bud, Northern Lights, Afghan.. When I get my Clone Box up and running I can also keep mothers in there on the same shelf as the clones , then use lower shelf for veg.. Not to total sure yet, need to get clone box so I can see how much space I have to work with..
By the way I grow with cfl's also My veg area right now has 6-23watt 6500k CFL's total of 9600 lumens in a 2.5 foot area..

My veg area right now has 6-23watt 6500k CFL's total of 9600 lumens in a 2.5 foot area..Hey thanks for stopping by guys, I will give some reports on the t5's when I get then going, otherwise all is well in my grow, the new nutes are working out great no more ph problems, budding is going along nicely, some quick dates... I have a total of 8 plants in flowering right now, the eldest 2 today marks day 44 of flower and one is much further along and larger than the other (pics below) they are 59 and 56 days old. there is a clone from the younger of those too, 4 are the seedlings that sprouted in my AG on 3-31 they have been flowering for 15 days and are all 26 days old.... I also have a plant that I started from seed, I really dont remeber when, but I had run out of room before my redesign so it was sitting by a window for the past week.. it stretched but lived so its now part of the expanded operation and went into flower today anyway check out the crappy pics

thank you I try to keep everything nice and steadynice steady grow
but having these hempy buckets makes that alot easier to do.... another day no major news had to water my 2 oldest girls today, all the others were stil ok they got flushed Friday and then fed Saturday afternoon, so I didnt anticipate them needing anything until tomorrow, it so nice, I can just lift the pot and tell if I need to water, of If I can go another day, each of the big girls got a pint each of ph water with 1/4 teaspoon of molasses and about a pint each of plain water to top them off, I took off alot of the dying fan leaves to give the bud sites more light, I also started another seed today in a jiffy pellet, its my fist time using these so I wanted to give it a shot, the smell in here is amazing Here are a few pics, I have a question for anyone watching, the top bud on one of my plants is about 10% amber hairs, should I start to flush now I am at day 45 so I have about 2 weeks to go until I reach 8 weeks??

who was I kidding, the lights came on and I check in and of course NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT, damn it seems like before these little simple buckets everyday was a nightmare... but anyway, my little seed in the jiffy pellet came up today, I will be starting 3 more seeds today, they will all be 12/12 from seed, going to give that a go and see what happens, I will probably take a clone from each of these as soon as there is one available and veg those for mothers hopefully, in any event its day 47 of flowering for the original 2 girls, my best guess one has at least another 3 weeks to go the other the top of her will be ready in about 2 weeks I think, but I couldnt help it I took a sample from her today, going to give it a quick dry and try

Man my first taste of home grown and it is nice..... I dired the little bud by placing it in a cofee cup next to the exuahst fan from my grow area its dark and pretty warm the bud dried in about an hour or so the one nug was enough for 2 bowls, It only took one hit to know I was in business.... it tasted very sweet, very pleasan smell too it, mild all over body high, kind of just want to lay down and stare at the ceiling lol..... it burned all to white ash, and I havent flushed it yet, so i think I am in for a real treat wehn I harvest
just another day, keeping the doors to the closet cracked keeps my temps down with the doors closed I was getting close to 90 degrees other wise, it is just a closet full of girls budding.... I plan to harvest at least 1/2 of my oldest plant in 2 weeks so I am going to be giving it just water, and molasses for the next few waterings until I harvest what looks ready then I will feed it again, wait another 2 weeks and plan to harvest the rest, since I am using cfls I have alot of budsites that arent getting enough light so I am going to harvest the mature ones and let the others continue to grow hopefully....
god I know I am just going to buy another one this weekend, my grow is going great and I cant do it justice with these shit pics...... off to walmart this weekend...... but good fucking news, the wife only looks at my girls every now and then so she gets the full effect of there changes, she saw them today and said " its like a forest in there" and she noticed how the smell isnt so skunky almost smells like cotton candy... anyway after seeing my sucess she has agreed to let me get a 150w hps, so there is a redesing in my near future...... can someone tell me how hot they get, and the htg site says it will cover a 3X3 area is that about right??

Hey BigD, I just read your entire grow, looks like it's going great. I'm going to try and do the whole thing with just CFLs and my growbox (going to make at least one more). If my soil plant turns out female I'm going to make that a mom and try a SoG with HB.

thanks for stopping by, I am going to fininsh out my current generation which totals 7 plants under my current cfl setup, after I harvest them all Yes they are all females )which will take place over the next several weeks, starting this week, I am going to do some construction in my closet and i will be installing a 4ft 4 bulb t5 setup 20k lumen combo of bloom and grow bulbs, at that point I should be able to get about 14 plants in the closet at a time, I am going to run 12/12 exclusively, and try and get a perpetual harvest, just cloning my clones, and cloning those etc..... all hempy buckets of course
I already started 5 seeds in preperation for this, I am going to put them in a grow box under 24hour lighting probably for the next 8 weeks, by then the closet with the new lights should be ready I should be able to fill up my room by taking clones from these 5......well just another monday, nothing much to report, no problems that is... Friday will mark 8 weeks of flowering for my original 2 ladies, one is no where near ready I think she may need another 4 weeks, the other I plant to take probably the top 1/2 of the plant on Friday there are some lower bud sites that willprobably give me some decents nugs if I let them go another week or two with the lights closer to them...Friday also marks week 4 of flowering for the 4 from the AG and the clone, they are all coming along nicely here are a few more crappy pics ( wife said either a new camera or my t5's) no worries tho I am getttng a new cell phone with a much better camera on it lol works out for me.....

today marks day 53 of flowering for the original 2 and day 28 for the other 5, I took 2 nice buds from one of my girls today, I made a diy bud dryer, I have an exhuast fan coming from the grow area, I cut a hole in a rubbermaid, so now the exhaust goes into the rubbermaid, I attached a pc fan to the other end of the rubbermaid to pull air thru, I ran it all day yesterday and the temp stayed at 80 degrees, from what I have read as long as there is air moving and it is 84 degrees or cooler potencey shouldnt affected, I estimate the 2 buds I pulled to weigh 1/8 ounce when dry, but I will weigh them in a few days to get an acurate number, the smaller bud was partially quick dried using the hot plate method, and then put in the bud dryer, it may be smoke ready this evening, some pics of the buds....

thanks a bunch cannaboy, I was surprised with how dense they are also, even the one that I quick dried is sill dense I was expcting airy buds, thats what people say you will get with cfls, I am please with the result, I think I will end up with about 3/4 of an oz frommy 1st plant when its all said and done, and that is cool with me from one plant, when I have 6 others budding, if I can average 1/2 oz per plant and end up with alomst 4 ozs from my first grow I would consider that a sucess....nice...dem buds look really dense
