i can hit a head sized target at over 700 yards if i really feel like it. but thats besides the point. proper gun control isnt just being able to hit ur target its trigger control "keeping ur finger clear of the trigger till ur ready to use it. its about knowing how many rounds are still in ur mag after u have fired a few rounds. its also being able to understand ur surroundings and the surroundings of ur target to make sure u dont hurt/kill innocent people. even shitty bullets can go thru a wall of a house and kill a child. or a window or even thru another human body for that matter. its about being aware of EVERYTHING and not just hitting ur target.

Apparently in California the ability to defend your own life is not a good enough cause.

Otherwise the whole law reads as thus:

The Sheriff may issue a concealed weapon license to law abiding residents of San Diego County provided that all of the following criteria are met:

  2. The applicant demonstrates good cause for the issuance of the license
  3. The applicant presents proof of residency within San Diego County
The concealed weapons license allows the licensee to carry a pistol revolver, or other firearm capable of being concealed upon the person.

Each applicant will be interviewed by License Division Staff to determine initial eligibility. Applications accepted will be individually investigated to determine residency, moral character, and good cause, anyone on any form of probation is automatically disqualified. Applicants will be required to submit documentation to support and demonstrate their need for any of the categories. The categories are:


  1. Protected law enforcement
  2. Personal protection (w/documented threats)
  3. Security

if obama had his way everything would be banned. children cant even play outside in a front yard without the parents being harassed by the cops now and days becuz obama feels our children should be watched 24 hours a day and should never be left alone... kinda sad really.

its bullshit. it takes the police an average of 10 minutes to get to me for an emergency. and thats just my house. i could care less if they ever issue me a permit. im going to carry regardless. its kept me from being car jacked by a vato with a knife at 1030 at night in a dark parking lot at my local community collage so i carry all the time now.

Not really, it's the quiet reserved intelligent kind, haven't ever heard of the news bringing up a SSRI, or something would've been done by now.


Either way, there's still the illegal ways, not hard to get a gun in America.

spree killers are not quiet, reserved intelligent or even rational. most have a long history of entanglements with the law and emotional turmoil, and most are also pretty damed stupid.

youre thinking of serial killers the ones who kill over and over for years before eventually getting caught with a dead hooker on the BBQ or a rentboy mouldering in the crawlspace.

or maybe the "shootout with the FBI" cats. those are the ones who "always seemed so nice", as opposed to the deranged spree killers like andrew cunannan or klebold and harris who sit in their darkened rooms crying, cleaning their guns and making lists.

Both considered intelligent, both were anti social, both have no criminal background, both nobody thought they could do this. It builds up slowly and quietly without people realizing it.

Not sure about the others, in 2007 and below I wasn't a very news watching person as I am now.
