Yes. That's why it's modified the original didn't use enough of something so important. Very hard to use to much azomite. The plants will take what they need.
Too much azomite in the root zone can cause salt build up if I'm not mistaken....

Good recipe bro! Im going to mix some up in the next week. I have 3 GDP, 3 WW & 3 Blue Cheese. If you don't mind, what strains where your high yeilders? Where did you get your seeds from?not sure on the yeild.. i dont weigh em anymore after i trim. i just jar em up. i use large mason jars which hold about a qp give or take. most of the strains ive decided to keep will fill 2 mason jars. so an estimate would be no less than 6oz a plant.
ive always grown from clones obtained from collectives here in cali, or from friends who got them from collectives. the only ones ive grown from seed were bagseed from really good female weed that just so happened to have a seed in it. this last round i just wrapped up was 3 diff strains from seed. 1 was a strain i had in the past that i lost, the other popped up in the yard at random, and the 3rd is a rare strain that probably very few people have (sweet n sour kush) that i was fortunate enough to be gifted some seeds by a very cool friend of mine that ran a collective here at one time. i believe there is only 1 circle of people in norcal that have this strain, and i was told i had to find my own pheno when i asked for a clone lol. all good though. anyway, that strain is fire, super fat buds, and the smell is god-like. like sweet sour strong blueberry type of smell. but one of the two seedpops of that strain hermi'ed around week 3, and so there is a very light amount of seeds in this round, but who cares i love good seeds. as long as its not more seeds than bud.
the random yard popper smells like really sweet trainwreck. i think it might be a cross between a trainwreck hybrid (maybe from the neighbors plants) that pollinated my sour diesel i had there. it smells piney, finishes by day 56. when you squeeze it it smells like sweet trainwreck. and the high is visually intense at first, then it is extremely relaxing after the initial peak. this strain really lowers my blood pressure a lot.
the sour d is what it is, exactly like the original that i wanted to get back, except i think the yield is fatter this time. its hard as a rock, and fills out every single branch completely. even the small little popcorn buds at the base of the stem on the bottom of the plant are dense. good stuff.
the thing about growing from seed is u always run the risk of getting seeds in your final product, some people dont like that, i prefer to have seeds in stock as long as it doesnt affect the bud smoke while getting them. the thing about clones is most clones from collectives have mites, so im sticking with my strains i have and not accepting any more from the outside, and if i do want a new strain, itll be a seed pop where i will look for my own pheno. cuz i like to be different than what everyone else has out there.
i have my eyes on Kens Phantom cookies from the GDP collective (phantom is cherry pie crossed with kens GDP, so phantom cookies is phantom crossed with girl scout cookies...) once i have this strain i will probably not add another one for a while. sounds like the ultimate hybrid of every strain i have/want.
anyway, i got my strain list down to Kens GDP, Sour Diesel, and XJ13. I'm not sure if im keeping the yard popper yet, or the sweet n sour kush yet.. need to experiment with them more still. yard popper is really frosty, im just not sure if it outshines xj13 quite yet. and the sweet n sour is a rare one, but im not sure if it didnt get as dense as it could have because of the pollination, or if its just that way, i think it will get 1 or 2 more runs to confirm what it does then ill decide on that one. but the smell is OMG AMAZING.
high end:: as far as the fishbone meal, i use the down to earth brand as well (most of my additives i use from them) but i dont recall it having bones in it.. other than bones grinded down... its not a fine powder, its sort of like a powder with small shards of what looks like bone/hay type substance.. it should be really small though, not like an arm bone or something lol.
dose em with the liquid karma, hygrozyme and hi-brix the day u transplant em, and every week following until around the beginning of week 6.. then water only for the rest of flower.. they will be great.
Do you still just fill the pots with supersoil or use plain roots soil and whitch pots do you use cause I got the ones that say 7 on the bottom and was told that they are only 5gals so I was going to get the pots with 10 on the bottom I think those are the ones sub use cause they have a lip on them.
just to keep it real basic thus far ill give a general discription.. ive already located and priced out the additives.. its not going to start with a bag of premixed soil (such as roots organic). it will instead be a combination of organic compost, composted manure, alaska humus, rice hulls, azomite, worm castings, blood meal, bone meal, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, guano, green sand, rock phosphate, sulfate potash, and an additive that includes beneficial fungii (such as mycorrhizae) and also yucca extract, aloe vera extract, and fulvic acids.
1g = .00423c liquidhey i wanted to know the grams to a cup ratio can u tell me in cups not grams for this soil recipie
