no roots yet, using a clear cup on purpose so i can see roots. if/when it roots, ill transplant it. i might even throw it out cause i dont have room.

i just wanna see how quick a clone roots with willow hormone.
It doesn't matter if there aren't roots dude, light into your root zone is asking for trouble.

And you don't need to see them to know if your plant rooted, ffs kid.

The way to tell if a clone has rooted, is to remove dome/cover after about 5 days and see if the plant droops or not. If the plant droops it has not gained enough roots to replace water lost through respiration. If the plant stays the same, the plant is rooted.

You don't use light on a clone. So as long as your clone isnt near any intense lights (your grow lights) it should be fine.

You don't want the plant to photosynthesize. You want her to respirate. That is how you will get root growth.

No light on clones you say? hmmm guess I"m doing it wrong, my bad.

You want a small light on them. I get roots in 4 days, so I guess a light isn't so bad after all :D

I know what she meant :D I'm just saying the way it was worded made it sound like no light at all. It's just the smart ass in me is all.

Yes 4 days, yes it just constantly sprays water on the stems.

I swapped out the 35watter for two 26w 6500k.

35 watter had 2400 lumens

Two 26 have 3200 lumens and they will be closer to more leaf than one bulb alone.

Day 23

IMG_0666.jpgIMG_0665.jpg

The 35w has been swapped for two 26w. Removed another book.

Past two days she has been perspiring. Little pools of water on the inner fingers of a leaf. Weird.

nice, i really want to try that soil.

the soil i use is peat moss, perlite and lime stone. it says its 40-50% peat moss by weight, but the pro mix says its 70%

think theres really a difference?

I think your plants look great in the soil they are in. I like the promix, it is almost the same thing you have.

I just realized I had my plant set at a 16/8 light schedule. Apparently it has been this the whole time. Interesting.

thats what im gonna run..the environment puts out 14hrs of real sun for the plants per day, near the summer solstice in their native environement, so i figured id give him an extra 2 hours to make up for using artifical lighting.

you might get more growth if you run 18/6. who knows?

Yeah I might of gotten more growth, that is what I was thinking.

I was gonna set the timer to 16/8 today but it was already that .. lol

I like to transition the plants into 12/12. No real "scientific" reason. Just makes me feel like I am babying them.

It was a freebie from World of Seeds that I got with an attitude order.

World of Seeds Medical Collection Mazar X Great White Shark is crossed with legendary Mazar il Sharif, known because of its great resin production, with Great White Shark. In this hybrid, the part of the Afghani gives the plant this amount of resin meanwhile the taste is defined by the Great White Shark as a result we have a powerful variety with a high percentage of resin and better flavor. As both parents are homogeneous, the descendants will be too. Mazar X Great White Shark cannabis seeds can be cultivated indoors and takes cannnabis seeds 55-65 days to flower. It's cannabis seeds are highly resistant to disease and mould. Mazar X Great White Shark aroma is strong and highly medicinal.
