yes I think saving 200 lives a year is worth limiting mag size and types of weapons fools carry...For the record I would compromise with a 15 mag size limit..not ten
sorry I thought I did answer...Yes it made a difference if it saved ONE life...Did having the ban cause a death ????
Well then are you for banning bathtubs then? 370 bathtub injuries a DAY!! 345 Deaths per year, JUST DUE TO BATHTUBS!!!! You must be for banning them, after all, even one life could be saved!!

The logic astounds me.

go hunting with your bath tub and see how well you do. after you get done, take a shower with your AR15.

my right to bear arms with large magazines.

man, they should warm up the bullpen. you should change the subject like canndo and buck when you aren't winning. or result to personal attacks, buck is especially good at using that tactic to get under people's skin.
not one of your rights to have large mags..Do you have the right to own a grenade launcher too ???

that's not a right. says nothing about large capacity mags in the constitution and the SCOTUS made it clear in heller that your right to bear arms is not unlimited.
here, we go again. it doesn't specify whether or not. with or without, up or down, left or right, backwards or forwards, inside or out, concealed or open, west or east.

so that people can have guns that they do not even need or have practical use for?
Who decides if they need a gun or not? Who decides if the reason you have a gun is practical or not?

Sounds like you are trying to say that defending your own life or your family's lives is not practical or necessary. Is that what you are trying to get at?

why not, the 2nd amendment doesn't say, just like the 1st doesn't say you can't incite violence. it's just there, it says what it says. who is to say who is right and who is wrong?

are you omnipotent? i know i'm not, and i'm certain the supreme court isn't either. a law, any law, is simply consensus opinion.

consensus opinions change over time.

What right are you talking about? Your rights are not specifically enumerated you dummy. The 2nd amendment clearly says that the government may not ever enact a law that infringes on the citizen's right to bear arms, nothing in there that says we have the right o bear arms, it is assumed.

Dummies like you think that the constitution givers people their rights, that we actually get our rights from a piece of paper. How quaint that the children don't understand the truth.

i don't know. how many people would be killed every year?

the question should be, how many dead Americans make me uncomfortable enough to trade in my freedom. it would probably take at least 1 million/year.

that's 0.3333333333% of the U.S. population if you want to do the math. small drops in a bucket even for 1 million gun deaths per year.

no supreme court ever would side with your interpretation of the second as giving you unlimited rights to own whatever arms and ammo you want.

you are living in la la land.

give up your delusions and join us in reality, kiddo. it's not as much fun as your fantasy world, but it does have its advantages, such as being reality-based.

it also says freedom of speech may not be abridged, but freedom of speech is abridged.

should i cite heller for you, child? or do you want to run around acting childish for a bit more?

self defense is practical and necessary.

you don't need certain arms for self defense, however.
