I have not found anything about ( Chlor. turning into THC ) but this article explains the progression cycle ? Maybe ?I was informed CBD is more dominant than THC during bud growth and into the curing process. Chlor. turns into THC
Bubba , that’s good to know about the CBD Priva pills , how expensive are they ?, and what would be the process if a person were to try to make their own in a cap form ?Do not expect CBD to act in the same fashion as vicodin for pain relief. Having said that, it has been more effective for my sciatic problems than any prescribed medication. IMO CBD does act as a neuroprotector (as some research has indicated).... Lyrica and Gabapentin (pharmaceuticals) also give this benefit but have shitty sideffects (vertigo). CBD also has some analgesic qualities when taken in sufficient quantity - kind of like Advil without the accompanying liver putrification. It also gives a feeling of well being when taken in sufficient quantities (50 mg of high CBD extract or so).
With CBD I have not taken any Vicodin/Percocet/Valium/Xanax/Advil/Excedrin/flexoral etc. in over 3 months (knock on wood). But that's just me man, it seems to do the trick for Bubba. Thing is you gotta take enough, which is actually kind of hard to do for a reasonable budget. If you want to know if CBD will work for you, the best med I have found to date are the CBD Priva pills at RiverRock, I take 50 to 100 mg a day as a maintenance dose.
Do you have the Harloquin strain in your grow ? is it a strain that can be easly found in the dispensary's in the Denver area ?No THC-A turns to THC in the curing process, but CBDs stay CBDs throughout the whole life and cure process. The "Dutch Masters" spent many years breeding the CBD out of strains, trying to increase THC, so know we are in the process of undoing the "work" they did and trying to recreate the CBD strains for medical purposes. Otto was bred with the intentions of increasing the CBDs. Harloquin is another strain that is high CBD low THC, regardless how you finish it.
Truly, I would just make a tincture and skip the hassle of making caps... unless you're gonna make a pile - too much hassle. But if you really want to then, you would take some extract (BHO, bubble, RSO, etc.) and mix with an equivalent amount of coco oil (i.e. not much, just enough to dissolve the extract thoroughly). Cook at 200 - 250 for 4 to 24 hours. Let cool but not to solid. Mix oil with corn starch until like toothpaste then freeze. Take out of freezer and grind to powder - fill caps (capsule machine helps here). RR's caps are $1/10mg cap to members.Bubba , that’s good to know about the CBD Priva pills , how expensive are they ?, and what would be the process if a person were to try to make their own in a cap form ?
I've been meaning to get some seeds, as they do seem to be pretty stable.
I still don't have anything very high CBD in my garden, Pre-98 being probably the highest at the moment, but it is still a THC dominate strain. I am hoping my outdoor adventures of this summer will give me enough "cushion" on production to be able to add something more CBD based, not sure what i am thinking, although Harloquin has been on my thoughts for a couple years now. Otto #1 may make an appearance as i believe i can source seeds for it, and won't have to get a clone.Do you have the Harloquin strain in your grow ? is it a strain that can be easly found in the dispensary's in the Denver area ?
Don't forget the R4, which seems to be the current king of CBD.

Snow Goddess (303) |
R-4 (303) |
White Rhino |
Medi Bomb 1 |
I believe the THC in strains is actually THC-a. It becomes THC when heat is applied (or slowly over time - decarb). So measuring THC-a is the same as THC (as far as we are concerned with potency).R4 but the greenwerkz place selling it sucks. I went in the other day dude sold me some flower that should have just been used for oil. I know R4 doesn't come out super looking but this was hardly bud at all infact 1 bud and the rest straggly crap. It says online in a lot of places that its "open source" meaning free seeds and free clones for med patients. They didn't have any clones (2 weeks) and dude sold me seeds for $10 a piece. This strain in the hands of someone better would be amazing. Edit: and R4 is all CBD-a not CBD It only has 0.1%-CBD and it tested at 14-20%CBD-a http://www.greenwerkz.com/index.php/r4-cbd-program/r4-test-results/r4-2-5/ another thing the bud they tested and the bud they sell you are miles apart.....
