BigB's second medical grow. Outdoor 2013.

I think she has gotten a little taller, those small buds have stayed the same size.

I keep looking for typical twisted wierd reveg leaves but nothing yet.

Is there any way you can get supplemental lighting out there for when you loose the sun it will help with the reverting process?

I probably could run an extension cord and put up a few CFL's but I'm worried the neighbors will think a UFO has landed in my yard.

Or I could fix my porch light. Would a bare CFL or two work from 15 feet away?

I would go buy a sodium light at store for 30-50 bucks at the most. Its the one you put on the end of a barn or shed and put it on the corner of your house that would be the best bet it will also turn it self on and off if you get the right one.

Ok. It's quit possible I'm being a paranoid newbie, or it's possible I should have done this from day one with these easily triggered Blackberry Kush, but I decided fuck what the neighbors think and hung a 23watt CFL (6500k) over each plant that was showing flowers.

I ghetto rigged them with cords I had around the house and used some long skinny boards to hang a clamp style fixture over each one.

I put them on a timer set for 5am-7am and again from 6:30pm-10pm.

Tomorrow I'll fix the porch light so I can use it to help cover up the extra light.

Hey sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do right. At least now you know you are doing everything possible to help them revert back.

I think I see some reveg on the 4 BBK :D the buds are looking really leafy.

The OG are taking off and the white widow seedlings are getting big quickly as well. They're still not showing sex but they might be ready for some food.

I'll take some pics when the sun comes out and post them tonight.

Pictures! weeeeee!

Some reveg maybe? I think I can see the start of some single blade leaves.

On Saturday I released roughly 1500 ladybugs

Sunday, Monday, & Part of Tuesday it rained. Plants seemed to love it. Here is a couple over all shots from Monday. The trash bags are there to keep the electronics for the lights dry.

Yea looks like some reveg happening to me.

Imma get me preying mantis eggs and hatch them out in my soil.

The White Widow seedlings look great
!

Mantis's are bad ass. I have an egg sack on the side my house right that showed up randomly. I hope it hatches soon.

Those white widow really took off this week. Hopefully they'll show sex soon and I can throw the girls into some real pots.

I would defo keep those lights up as ling as you can to keep those girls vegging through the night. I could see them getting pretty big if you are able to do that.

I like your setup a lot man. Really clean and tropical lookin'...

Great Update!

Thanks man. The bamboo fence does give a tropical/tiki vibe to the yard. I plan to keep the lights up just in case. These BBK are obviously a little more light sensitive than the others.

I'll have to do a little research on the timing but right now I'm thinking I will pull the lights down and cover up the kitchen windows around July 31st. I think if I do that I should have them flowering on schedule around mid August.

Looks like it's been about a week since I posted any updates.

We're on the tail end of a heatwave here, but the girls seem to love all the sun.

I had a small thrip problem pop up. They were all over my seedlings, and I found some on the other plants as well. They didn't seem to be doing much damage but I'm sure they could if left alone. 2 heavy spraying's with some Spinosad seems to have killed them. I think I'm going to alternate neem, BT, & spinosad from now on just in case. Spinosad will help with moths and some other nasties as well.

The lady bugs have mostly left, but every day I find at least 2 or 3 hanging out on a plant so they at least stayed local.

White Widow. These girls are growing great. I love how much vigor you get from seed. They've got 9 point fan leaves as big as my hand already:shock:.Just barely starting to show sex on 4 of them today, I think I have one possible male (The tallest one), 3 possible girls, and 2 that still aren't showing anything. Hopefully I'll be able to confirm sex soon. I don't want to hold them back in these small pots much longer.

I like how this one seems to be LSTing itself.

The 4 Blackberry Kush are reveging nicely. You can see how the buds are being replaced with a ridiculous amount of leaves. Hopefully they'll stretch out soon. They're still kinda small in my opinion. The guy who I got these from warned me that they get really tall outdoors, but I'm not seeing that so far.

These are the two BBK that didn't get a chance to flower because I put them out later, I put lights on them just to make sure they didn't flower early.

Finally the OG Kush. These girls are loving life and growing like crazy. As we moved from rain to that heatwave they started exploding with growth. Looked like an inch a day on some days.

I super cropped the two tallest tops on this one last night to see if I could get the other tops to catch up.

Feel free to post any suggestions.

Also, any guesses on how tall these will get? My wife is worried I'm going to grow right past the fence. I worry they won't get big enough.

Thanks for looking!

Looking really nice... Height all depends on you.. last year I was wanting to go tall.. but then hated not seeing the top collas for bud worms.. so this year did lst -scrog -supercrop

should be able to get 6 foot or better

Thanks man. I like all the training you're doing on yours. I'm not doing too much training this year. Trying to keep things simple. Plus I don't have a ton of space. I'd love to hit 8 feet but I'll be happy with 6. I look at them so often I feel like they never grow. I have to look at pictures to remind myself they're bigger. When I do that it's hard to believe that those OG are all children of one broken clone my buddy found on the floor and the BBK all fit in a grocery bag when I got them.
