Looks like it's been about a week since I posted any updates.
We're on the tail end of a heatwave here, but the girls seem to love all the sun.
I had a small thrip problem pop up. They were all over my seedlings, and I found some on the other plants as well. They didn't seem to be doing much damage but I'm sure they could if left alone. 2 heavy spraying's with some Spinosad seems to have killed them. I think I'm going to alternate neem, BT, & spinosad from now on just in case. Spinosad will help with moths and some other nasties as well.
The lady bugs have mostly left, but every day I find at least 2 or 3 hanging out on a plant so they at least stayed local.
White Widow. These girls are growing great. I love how much vigor you get from seed. They've got 9 point fan leaves as big as my hand already
.Just barely starting to show sex on 4 of them today, I think I have one possible male (The tallest one), 3 possible girls, and 2 that still aren't showing anything. Hopefully I'll be able to confirm sex soon. I don't want to hold them back in these small pots much longer.
I like how this one seems to be LSTing itself.
The 4 Blackberry Kush are reveging nicely. You can see how the buds are being replaced with a ridiculous amount of leaves. Hopefully they'll stretch out soon. They're still kinda small in my opinion. The guy who I got these from warned me that they get really tall outdoors, but I'm not seeing that so far.
These are the two BBK that didn't get a chance to flower because I put them out later, I put lights on them just to make sure they didn't flower early.
Finally the OG Kush. These girls are loving life and growing like crazy. As we moved from rain to that heatwave they started exploding with growth. Looked like an inch a day on some days.
I super cropped the two tallest tops on this one last night to see if I could get the other tops to catch up.
Feel free to post any suggestions.
Also, any guesses on how tall these will get? My wife is worried I'm going to grow right past the fence. I worry they won't get big enough.
Thanks for looking!
