Judeo-Christian & Islamic religious traditions has for centuries openly permitted/tolerated paedophilia, it's only been the last 100 years or so it's become something frowned upon and taboo.

IMO the larger looming question is why are paedophiles so prevalent in major religious organisations? Are they drawn to the cloth or does the cloth encourage this behaviour?

Religious run schools, with clergy etc as teachers have all had issues with paedophiles in their ranks. Doesn't seem to be limited to a certain religion as Christian, Jewish and Islamic have all seen and are still seeing this problem...

LOL, good call. I'm only ambivalent when I'm unsure what side I'm taking and what is the right path. You've got to choose or you have no balls. So by default I'm stuck on the same side as UB.

It's disgusting that some people can aggrandize one of most brutal pathological turds in history but point out the failures of a VERY few, all the while ignoring the positive contributions of the 99.9%.
