looking good man. very nice. im doing 2 diff jack h pheno types outdoors. i assume the jack in your
strain is from a jack h? either way looks bomb my friend.
i was just reading your topping/tieing techniques and im def gonna give them a go when i get a chance. so many ppl use diff shit.
like rope, shoe string, bread ties, coat hangers lol i know theyre improvising but it makes it confusin
which to choose. i assume rope gives you best accessibility to rearrange once youve tied or whatever.

The Jacks are noticeably less vigorous than the Sugar Punch, and certainly more sativa dominant now they're flowering. Not as much smell either so far, even in the smelliest one. Far more subtle. I'll be growing out the entire pack of Jacks, got two more (I ditched one this grow that was a bit runty), be interesting to see the ratio of holy grail phenos compared to the SP. I would say there were 3 easily holy grail phenos in the SP 5pk and no duffs - I would imagine the Jack 5pk will only likely offer up one at most (as you would expect - some breeders strains you could grow 100 plants and not get a keeper). It's all subjective though, I love my up sativas, but need the taste and smell too - and that is why I love the SP even though it has a slightly too intense stone for my liking. I imagine the effect of the Jacks will be far more towards my preferences, but without the extreme flavour and scents of the SP.

Sannies Jack is his stabilized back cross from a massive selection of plants (I'm guessing the initial plants he selected from were from Sensi seeds Jack though I have not seen this confirmed anywhere). He selected for sativa and haze characteristics, and then back crossed for 7 years or so I believe until he had it stable. It was then that he made the F1 fems which is what I am growing here.

I find that the thick string I use for training is perfect. I only got it accidentally actually. I used to use string that was marketed as 'fine cotton', it was string and not proper cotton, but was too thin imo. This thicker string stops any chance of the plants being cut as their stems and trunks grow against the tying and training. It's most obvious on the trunk base support tie off, as once stretching has finished in flowering and the base has thickened up I find the string gets very taught - with fine string or twine you could easily cut the plant. Could even be worth using very thick string, or rope as you call it for this bottom tie off, the thickest the stem will handle when you do it.

No. Sounds very interesting though. The second he gets some fems of that out I will be on it for sure. Almost sounds worth going to regs for. All the plus points of the KF with the strength of SuperSilverHaze (or possibly the Sugar Punch).

It is something I will do one day. When I'm living in Spain or the Netherlands though (which I'm working towards), and I can triple the size of my set up without fearing Babylon. For now my growing is simply for personal smoke.

Couple of shots of the tent from today - day 26 of 12/12. Shows the difference in size between the two Shacks nicely (bottom right and top left). Also shows how well I judged filling up that 120x120 space (little bit of luck in it I will admit, but I knew they should stretch).

First signs of slight leaf clawing on all the girls. I will use this as a sign to back off the 'Grow' slightly, and up the dose of 'Bloom' (there is no nute burn on leaf tips so I don't need to drop the levels). All still looking great though. The heavily sativa Jack has started showing resin now properly at day 28 of 12/12, smells lovely jasmine citrus like the other - seriously reckon she will be a 13 week+ flower girl, which excites me greatly!

The two Shackzilla are going to have huge colas. Tall Hazey Shack looks like she will have two 15 inch tall colas, I can't quite believe the size of them. I will get a tape measure so I can get the actual measurement, but they're huge. Looks like they should all fill in too from the size of the buds now before any sort of swelling. I'll get some photos tomorrow. Truly insane looking though. Two shorter colas too of about 12 inches to back it up.
The other one, Shiva Shack, has an already filled in cola that is about 9 inches in height which will end up fatter than Biggie Smalls rhymes. I've had a Mad Shack (Mad Scientist X Shackzilla) grow the biggest cola of any plant I've grown so far, this plant has very similar characteristics, could be even fatter. Mad Shack cola was fatter than four coke cans put together. Very tight structure to Shiva Shack, not quite closed, but far more so than the others. I will stake them both later this week and when I do I will spread Shiva's stems, open the middle up some - to aid air flow as much as anything, big buds need forethought and good air flow.
The two Jacks are looking just great. Such unusual looking flowers on both of them. One clearly 2 weeks (ish) ahead of the other - probably an 11 and a 13 week (though could be a 10 and a 12), we shall see.
Oh and damn hot here right now! Day time's 80-83 max - night 70-73 min. Hopefully get a break in it soon.

One or two brown hairs on both girls. Can't see either being done much sooner than 10 weeks - but these two look like being quick finishers.
I will update again with pics of the more sativa dominant girls tomorrow.

Pictures of 'Tall Hazey Shack' and 'Sativa Jack' from today - day 33 of 12/12. Some pics of the leaf clawing on the Jack - will reduce the 'Grow' right down to 10ml next watering and stick with 30ml of 'Bloom'. Still perfectly healthy though. Very happy with them both. Tall Hazey Shack is starting to really stink, sweet skunky haze - she is also starting to need support. I got some new string earlier, and will stake them all in the next 24 hours.

Put some heavy duty home made stakes into Tall Hazey Shack. Tied multiple branches to them. She is going to be a yield monster. Tons of big buds already, and swelling isn't likely to start for another 3 weeks yet. Very excited to see how she turns out. The smell is just amazing. Really strong proper Super Silver Haze. I grew some Sugar Punch recently and got some SSH type phenos, but now I have this one I can see they had a definite sweetness, this one is all haze.

Really looking great man........ I love Sannie's and Escobar's products.......Wish I could grow out the Sannies Jack here but at 6500 feet it doesn't like it.I have grown them for 6 years all with disappointing results compared to a friend growing at sea level, oh well. Lady Cane is worth a try when you have space........I have grown her for 4 years now and simply love it, she has done great and given me 3 very nice phenos that have bred very well and has given me lots of buds and is an easy grow. I will keep reading your thread for sure.
