it gives good people the opportunity to not be prosecuted by criminals breaking into their homes when we shoot them. theres no reason anyone i dont invite should be on my property, especially after dark. if so, they should expect to be shot or tomahawked.

The teenager had not broken into the house. He was shot in the driveway, 30 feet away from the homeowner. The homeowner said he thought the guy was going for a weapon. Plausible? I dunno.

There was a case a few years ago (I can't find the story or I'd post it). This property owner didn't like people "trespassing" thru a corner of his lot to get to the river. People would drive across a corner of his land to park near the river to fish & swim. He got a camera & videoed many people cutting thru. He decided to put a stop to it........with a gun. He gave his wife the camera & confronted the next car to drive thru, while holding his gun in his hand. When the driver of the car got out, the land owner raised his gun & pointed it at him. The driver feared for his life & hit the ground, rolled over & pulled his weapon, & put 3 shots center mass before the land owner got of a shot (missed). His wife had a great video of her husbands death. The car driver was never charged, not even trespassing......

That's my kind of gun control!
